Infinity Nikki: How to unlock and use photo mode

The photo mode is one of the main tools that you will extensively use in Infinity Nikki. The game revolves around a lot of exploration and has some beautiful land scapes so you will be using this mode quite often.

Unlike most titles, you will not have access to the photo mode from the very beginning. Instead, you will have to make a certain amount of progress before you can start clicking pictures.

So, here’s everything you need to know about the photo mode in Infinity Nikki.

How to unlock photo mode in Infinity Nikki?

To unlock photo mode in the game, you will have to progress through the main questline till you get to Florawish.

This town is a part of the Land of Wishes questline. Once you’ve reached Florawish, and you help the two children in the townsquare, an NPC will approach you and give you a camera as a reward for your efforts.

How to use photo mode

Photo Mode in Infinity Nikki

To use photo mode in Infinity Nikki, you’ll have to bring up the camera by pressing the P key on PC. Once the camera is out, you can easily take photos, but you can also control the different features on the camera throw the different tabs available.

  • Camera tab – Adjust focal length and rotation; allows you to hide Nikki, NPCs, and Eureka equipment.
  • Graphics – Adjust brightness, exposure, contrast, shadows, vignette, and other settings.

Here’s how you can control the camera:

  • WASD keys – Pan camera
  • Hold the left mouse button and rotate – Rotate camera.
  • Hold the right mouse button and rotate – Rotate Nikki.
  • Mouse wheel – Zoom in and out.
  • H – Hide icons.
  • Spacebar – Click picture.

The Infinity Nikki photo mode also has some additional features that will allow you to control Nikki’s poses too.

  • You can choose to pause the moment based on the movements that you want to capture.
  • NPCs around you can choose to join you in the picture.
  • Pressing the “M” key will allow you to change poses as per your choice.
  • Use the Light tab to determine the direction and intensity of the light.
  • Filters allow you to change the hue and color of the image easily.

Where to find saved photos in Infinity Nikki?

If you’re looking for your photos in the game, then you will find them in Bebe’s Scrapbook. Alternatively, you can also find them in Nikki’s Album too.

Outside the game, the default location for these photos is in X6Game\Screenshot. If you’ve used the win + Print Screen key to click photos then you’ll find them in Pictures\Screenshots folder.
