Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 complete healing guide

As you make your way through Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, Henry will often be badly wounded. You will not be able to talk or parry your way out of every situation and there will be moments when you will need to completely heal him.

However, learning how to heal in the RPG can be a bit tricky as the system itself is a bit complicated to grasp and the game does not directly touch on all the nuances.

So, if you are looking to make the most of the healing system in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 the guide below will help you out.

How to heal Wounds In Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Applying bandage Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Severe wounds will often cause bleeding and impair Henry’s movements in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. Some wounds can also cause other several debuffs, which can make things more difficult in encounters.

Fortunately, you will be able to patch these wounds by using healing items like Bandages from your inventory. Just select the item and then select the wound that you want to mend. The severity of the wound will determine the number of Bandages or other healing items that you need.

Once you use the item, you will see that Henry has “Stopped Bleeding” or has recovered from any other debuffs that were inflicted on him.

So, make sure to keep a constant eye on the debuff icons after every encounter.

Different potion types in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

There are different healing items and potion types that you will come across and get to make during your playtime. Items like the Marigold Decoction will help Henry regenerate HP over time, while the Chamomile Brew will help him regain more HP when he sleeps.

Using the Painkiller Brew, on the other hand, will temporarily prevent the effects of Wounds like Stamina loss from bleeding when you are in combat. The potion will also temporarily negate the effects of other debuffs.

Alternate ways to regain health In Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Apart from potions, there are other better ways of topping up Henry’s HP in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. One of the most important ones is to Eat and Drink which will slowly refill the Nourishment meters and also regain a bit of Henry’s health as long as he is not wounded.

Another method of regaining health will be to Rest and Sleep. Depending on how many hours of sleep Henry has gotten, he will refill his Rest meter and recover some health accordingly.

Additionally, you can also make your way to the Bathhouse and spend some time there as it will also help you recover some HP, fill your Reset meter, and improve the Hygiene meter.

Note: You can also wash up in other water bodies, like the ponds that you encounter in the open world, as well as improvised tubs. This will give you the same benefits as well, but not as much as a Bathhouse.
