League of Legends patch 25.20 preview— Pantheon buffs, Briar nerfs, Graves adjustments, and more

League of Legends patch 25.20 preview is now live, and Riot Games has mentioned a lot of changes that they will be shipping to the MOBA next week. Some of the major highlights of the patch will be the changes that some of he jungle champions will be receiving.

Pantheon (jungle) will be buffed this time around, with nerfs hitting Briar, Volibear, Warwick, and Wukong. Massive adjustments will be made to Graves as well so that he has more build options in the game outside of his one-shot Lethalit and Crit burst. Graves will now have more durable build options to go for.

Below is a list of all the changes that are expected to make their way to League of Legends with patch 25.20.

Before going into the League of Legends patch 25.20 pre-notes, it’s important to note here that Riot will be testing the changes in the PBE before officially shipping them next week.

When talking about the Pantheon buffs, Riot states,

“This patch, we’re targeting a few junglers (and one flex) that are posting up really strong performances in regular play; Volibear, Warwick, Briar…..Pantheon was overnerfed last patch, and it wasn’t our intention to remove him completely from the meta, so we’re looking to claw some of that back.”

3) Champion Adjustments

Azir

  • W AP ratio: 40-60% →30-70%
  • W extra target damage mod: 25/50/75/100% at 1/6/11/16 → 20% at 1-8, 28-100% at 9-18
  • W recharge rate: 10-6 → 12-6
  • E damage: 60-220 + 40% 70-230 + 60%

Camille

  • Armor growth: 5 → 4.5
  • W CD: 17-11 → 15-11
  • W flat base damage: 50-150 → 60-160

Fizz

Fizz League of Legends
  • W passive damage over time: 20-60 + 30% → 30-90 + 25%
  • No longer DoTs structures
  • DoT display is now cumulative
  • W active base damage: 50-130 + 45% → 50-150 + 45%
  • W on-hit damage: 10-30 + 35% → 20-40 + 30%
  • Minimum R damage: 150/250/350 + 80% → 180/300/420 +60%
  • Maximum R damage: 300/400/500 +120% → 270/450/630 + 90%

Wukong (Jungle)

  • W CD: 20-16 → 22-18
  • W damage: 35-55% → 30-50%
  • E damage: 80-200 → 80-240

When talking about the Graves adjustments, the developers mentioned,

“Graves has been going pretty much full lethality one-shot builds for a while – We’re looking at some adjustments here to correct his builds and open up some different types of more durable builds (within reason).”

League of Legends patch 25.20 release date

LoL patch 25.20 will be going live next week on October 9, 2025. It will be introducing a lot of jungle champion changes, which will be shaking up the solo-queue and proplay meta quite a bit.
