Path of Exile 2 can be quite a mess to get into for the unseasoned player. With so much stuff going on the head up display, coupled with a rather bloated Loot user interface, fully enjoying the game can be quite a hard task to accomplish for many.
Thankfully, a transformative mod by NeverSink aims to rectify this particular issue, adding in a completely revamped Loot UI. You can find more about this particular mod, along with instructions on how to install it in the RPG below.
How to install FilterBlade’s Path of Exile 2 Loot Filter

- Head to the official FilterBlade URL linked here.
- Make sure that the tab highlights ‘PoE 2’, and not PoE 1.
- Download the tool. Alternatively, you can also log in using your Path of Exile 2 account and sync.
- For this particular example, we will be using the default presets. Leave everything unchanged for now.
- Next, click on the green ‘EXPORT TO POE’ tab to finalize.
Assuming you have your Path of Exile 2 account logged in, there isn’t much else to do – everything should be automatically synced and ready for you the next time you start the game.
In the rare event that the sync fails to work, or if you prefer a more manual method, follow these steps instead:
- After you have hit the EXPORT TO POE tab, you will be presented with two options.
- Select the ‘Download’ button this time around.
- Make sure to have the ‘ZIP’ option selected.
- Once the download finishes, extract the file’s contents into a folder.
- Copy the files and head on over to %userprofile%/Documents/My Games/Path of Exile 2 – and paste your files there.
Now you can simply relaunch the game and make your way to the Game tab (under Options) to find a drop-down menu highlighting your custom filter.
The change should be immediately apparent.
The tool also offers multiple ways to further fine tune and customize your filter experience, with a great amount of depth under the ‘CUSTOMIZE’ tab.
