The world is currently riled up over the release of Epstein files as more details are coming, but in the meantime, it has led close to a legal action situation surrounding the game, MindsEye. For further context, we need to deep dive into what is actually going on.
The YouTube community is currently building content out of the newly released Epstein files. YouTuber named Cyber Boi has come under direct fire from the CEO of Build a Rocket Boy studios, Mark Gerhard, for a now-deleted video about co-CEO Leslie Benzies being mentioned in the Epstein files.
Mark Gerhard took to MindsEye’s official Discord server to issue the threats about a serious legal probe, accusing the video of defamation. Cyber Boi claims to have taken down the video after he received a threat of legal action.

Some very serious allegations were found in the files
MindsEye is a game that had high expectations riding behind it because it had ex-Rockstar producer Leslie Benzies behind it. Unfortunately, the game was immensely buggy on release. Coupled with other underlying issues, MindsEye turned out to be the biggest disappointment in gaming from last year.
But all of that is in no way adjacent to the crux of the real matter we are dealing with. Being associated with the Jeffrey Epstein files is a serious allegation that should be looked at beyond simple laughter and memes.

The high-profile criminal Jeffrey Epstein had accusations of p****philia and s** traffic ring pinned against him, all of which were slowly coming into the limelight as the US Department of Justice started releasing files that included his whole library of compromised emails.
So no one in their right mind would like to find themselves mentioned even out of context in these released files. But according to an Insider Gaming report, Leslie Benzies was, in fact, found in those files, and there are some serious s***al allegations pinned to him.
The current situation around this whole drama
CEO Mark Gerhard tagged Cyber Boi on Discord with a long post that went over his frustrations regarding the situation, about how Build a Rocket Boy employees are themselves leaking confidential information, thereby compromising the company’s reputation.
“This letter serves as a formal cease and desist demand: You must immediately stop all activities related to receiving, disseminating, or otherwise utilizing any confidential information from BARB, as well as any further involvement in media manipulation, espionage, sabotage, or interference targeting our organization. Failure to comply will result in escalated legal action.” He further wrote in the post.

Soon after Cyber Boi’s discord took notice that the video was taken down, and in talking with him, users found that he took it down because he “Can’t be arsed with the drama of it all.”
Leslie Benzies had to come out and make a statement to a Kotaku reporter denouncing the accusations from the emails, which sought to pin him with some serious allegations. “I have never met Jeffrey Epstein, nor have I ever visited his island, his properties, or travelled on his plane. Any suggestion otherwise is misleading.” He added.
