Pale Moss and its variants are one of the major additions that Minecraft is receiving with The Garden Awakens update. The resource is a different type of moss blok that you usually get in the game and is primarily found in the Pale Garden biome which is a new region that has also been added with the 1.21.4 update.
You can use the Pale Moss blocks for decorative purposes. Combine them with Pale Oak and Resin Bricks to make some of the spookiest structures in Minecraft. However, there is only a limited amount of Pale Moss that you will be able to farm in the biome.
Fortunately, there are a few things that you can try to improve your yield, and get your hands on as much Pale Moss as you want.
How to get Pale Moss in Minecraft

There are a few steps that go into farming a good amount of Pale Moss in Minecraft:
Step 1: Look for the Pale Garden biome
The first thing that you will need to do to get Pale Moss is to find the biome that houses the resource. The Pale Garden biome can be generated at any place on the Overworlsdd, however, they spawn much more frequently beside dark oak forests.
It’s very easy to spot this biome because of its pale off-white nature and the contrast it produces when compared to its surroundings.
Step 2: Farm Pale Moss in the daytime
Once you have reached the biome, the next step is to manually farm the moss from every part of the new regions. The reason we recommend that you do it in the daytime is to avoid getting ganked by mobs like Zombies, Skeletons, and the Creaking.
These mobs usually spawn at night time, and you do not want them messing up your farming route.
Step 3: Use Bone Meal
Once you have farmed every bit of Pale Moss from all the parts of the biome, you can further maximize your yield by using bone meal. The resource acts as a fertilizer that will let you very quickly grow any crop, plant, or vegetation like moss in Minecraft.
Bone meal can be made from bones and bone blocks that you receive by killing skeletons or finding them in treasure chests. They are scarce in the Overworld, but very commonly found in the Soul Sand Valley biome in the Nether.

Once you have bones or bone blocks, use a composter or trade it with a Wandering Trader for bone meal. if you are crafting with a composter, each bone will give three pieces of bone meal, and each bone block will give nine pieces of bone meal.
When you have the fertilizer, place a pale moss block anywhere on the ground and then right-click on it with a bone meal in hand. Once that is done, you will automatically increase the total amount of pale moss blocks that the game generates, and in time the surrounding areas around the original block will be covered in pale moss for you to harvest.
It is with the use of bone meal you will be able to farm up a lot of Pale Moss in Minecraft.
Note: You can trade for Pale Moss Blocks at the Wandering Trader as well, however, that’s not something we recommend that you invest in often.
