Latets Genshin Impact leaks from HomDGRat have hinted at a possibly new endgame mode that could be introduced in future updates.
So far, only two endgame modes exist in Genshin Impact, which are the Spiral Abyss and Imaginarium Theater.
A third endgame mode could be a great way to keep things fresh and ensure endgame players have something that they can do.
Note: This article is based on leaks, and should be taken with a grain of salt until official confirmation from HoYoverse.
Genshin Impact new endgame mode leaks reveal potential gameplay mechanics
The leaks regarding a potential new endgame mode which might consist of six floors that require three teams to complete it.
Each floor will only consist of world bosses, according to the leaks. This potential endgame mode bears a lot of resemblance to the Deadly Assault game mode in Zenless Zone Zero, which is another HoYoverse game.
Perhaps the most important, and possibly frustrating, part about this leak is that teams begin the battle with zero energy.

This is a huge deal as characters start with full energy in Spiral Abyss and Imaginarium Theater. This change could heavily favor characters like Mavuika and upcoming characters like Skirk, who are leaked to have no energy costs.
Therefore, if we are to go by the leaks, the upcoming characters and ones that are possibly from Nod-Krai, which is rumored to be introduced in 6.0, could become meta in this particular endgame mode.
There is no official release window for this endgame content but it is expected to not arrive in Version 5.7, the patch where Skirk and Dahlia are rumored to be released.
Until then, players can look forward to Genshin Impact Version 5.6, which is set to be released on May 7, 2025. It will introduce Escoffier and Ifa as two new playable characters.
The former will be a 5-star Cryo Polearm character that is rumored to be Skirk’s best support while Ifa is a 4-star Anemo Catalyst character.
