Pokemon GO regional exclusives limit certain pocket monsters’ spawn range around the world. You will need to be in certain geographical areas to meet Pokemon like Kangaskhan, Kartana, Hawlucha, and Heracross.
Our list jots down every regional Pokemon currently in Pokemon GO and the locations where they can be found. Given that some of them are important to complete research questlines (you need to catch the Orginal 151 for Shiny Mew research), it is a must you know which pocket monsters are geographically exclusives.
Pokemon GO regional exclusives
According to Pokemon GO wiki, there are 41 region-exclusive Pokemon in-game. The number goes to 47 when evolutions are included. Most of these are wild encounters (where Lure Modules will help), with some being egg hatches and others being raid bosses.
These unique Pokemon sometimes are available in other locations, like Kartana and Celesteela swapping hemispheres.

Unless you are a globetrotter, getting all of these Pokemon GO regional exclusives in their original spawn location is almost impossible. All you can do is catch the ones you do visit. While some daredevils try and spoof their location, we recommend against it. Niantic will come down heavily on any such endeavours.
