The Fashion Week returns to Pokemon GO in 2025, available between January 10, 2025 (10 AM local time) to January 19, 2025 (8 PM local time). The event brings with it multiple additions and bonuses, including increased Shiny encounter chances for specific Pokemon – with the exception of Bruxish.
Additionally, the event will also feature the first ever additions of the Shiny Fashionable Minccino and Cinccino.

The best Shiny Pokemon to grab during the Pokemon Go Fashion week 2025
1) Shiny Fashionable Minccino
- Available after you win a 1-star raid at the Pokemon GO Fashion Week.
- It is also available as the encounter reward for the Paid Timed Research, costing approximately $5.
- Recommended Counters: Mega Heracross, Lucario, Shadow Conkeldurr, Keldeo and Terrakion.
- Can be evolved into a Cinccino (of the Shiny fashionable variety) by consuming 50 Candy and an Unova Stone.
2) Shiny Fashionable Butterfree
- Accessible via 3-star raids in Gyms, featuring the Pokemon in question.
- Both regular and Shiny variants are available during the event.
- Recommended Counters: Mega Diancie, Shadow Rhyperior, Shadow Rampardos, Tyranitar and Mega Aerodactyl.
3) Shiny Fashionable Dragonite
- Available via 3-star Raid Battles during the event.
- Also available via a Paid Timed Research for around $5.
- Recommended Counters: Shadow Mamoswine, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Rayquaza, Shadow Articuno, Shadow Weavile and Cetitan.
4) Shiny Top Hat Kirlia
- Can be found in the wild, albeit at very low rates.
- Found in two forms – male and female.
- The male Shiny Top Kirila can evolve into a Shiny Top Hat Gallade using 100 Kirila Candy and a Sinnoh Stone.
- The female Shiny Top Hat Kirila can be evolved to a Shiny Top Hat Gardevoir.
5) Shiny Furfrou
- Can be encountered within the wild.
- Can also be encountered via Raid Battles and a Paid Timed Research.
- Recommended Counters: Mega Lucraio, Mega Blaziken, Mega Heracross, Mega Alakazam, Shadow Conkeldurr and Shadow Machamp.
