Morphs and Shapeshifting are special features in Throne and Liberty that will help your character transform to gain various effects. Morphs are primarily used in traversal while Shapeshifting will let your character turn into certain creatures that you usually encounter in the open world.
These features are used in various situations throughout your journey in the MMO and the guide below goes over everything you need to know about the two systems.
All Morph types and how they work in Throne and Liberty

Morph in Throne and Liberty is a traversal mechanic that will let your character move faster and cover more ground. There are several types of Morphs that you will encounter as you progress through the RPG. While most of these are used in traversal, some will give you specific advantages in certain situations.
Here are all the Morph types that you will find in Throne and Liberty:
1) Dash Morphs
When you are moving, you can press Shift on your keyboard or left analog on the controller to activate your equipped Dash Morph. When active, this morph will let you move faster on the ground.
You will turn into an animal like a wolf and press the W,A,S,D keys to accelerate and move around the map. But do keep in mind that Stamina will be consumed when you accelerate and your character will exhaust when you run out of it.
To turn back to normal, you will just need to press the Dash Morph button again.
2) Glide Morph
To activate your Glide Morph in Throne and Liberty, you will need to jump from a high elevation and then press the Spacebar on your keyboard or use the X or A button on your controller. This will then transform your character into the equipped Glide Morph allowing you to accelerate while in the air.
This will burn through your stamina meter as well but you will be able to cancel the morph by pressing on the jump button again.
3) Swim Morph
You will be able to use the Jump Button when you are in a water body to be able to transform into your equipped Aquatic Morphs. This allows you to dash or even jump along the surface of water bodies.
Additionally, certain Morphs will even let you swim in lava without taking damage.
Shapeshifting explained in Throne and Liberty
Shapeshifting is more about changing your appearance in Throne and Liberty. There is an option called Special located to the right of Morp and it will allow you to transform into any creature whose form you have unlocked.
You will get your hands on new Shapeshift forms as you make your way through the narrative. Once you have a form assigned you will then be able to change your appearance, and while you are shapeshifted, your name will have a different display, and NPCs from the same species will not attack you.
However, do keep in mind that attacking or interacting with something will cancel your shapeshift.
What are Morph Progression and Growth Points?

Once you have access to Morphs in Throne and Liberty, you will be able to progress the levels of each type to unlock bonuses. This is done by earning Growth Points and as you keep accumulating these points, you unlock more milestones based on your Growth Level and the Morph category.
As an example, here is a list of all the bonuses that you will be able to unlock when you take Dash Morph to level 6:
- Dash morph acceleration rate bonus +24%
- Dash morph movement speed bonus +5%
- Acceleration stamina cost efficiency while dashing +15%
- Dash morph acceleration rate bonus +10%
- Dash morph movement speed bonus +5%
- Dash morph acceleration rate bonus +2%
Do keep in mind that you will need to level each type of Morph separately to be able to earn their respective bonuses.
How is the Lithograph Book tied to Morphs in Throne and Liberty?
Apart from the Growth Points, another system that is tied to Morphs is the Lithograph book. These contain entries of the forms that you have unlocked throughout your playtime. Once you complete certain entries your character will receive a permanent buff which is always active.
These buffs will often include a boost to Stamina, Health, and other stats.
