Freyna’s Abilities in The First Descendant

Freyna Abilities

Freyna’s abilities revolve around dealing damage over time (DoT). While she might not have the same level of burst damage as someone like Bunny, she can wrack an incredible amount of DPS overtime if she is allowed to stack up her passive and inflict the poison status effect on as many enemies as possible.

This makes her one of the best options for clearing mobs in The First Descendant.

Best Reactor and External Compontent

For Reactor Stats there are two options that you should ideally be aiming for with Freyna:

  • Toxic Phase: Boost to Toxic and Dimension type
  • Toxic Mechanics: Boost to Toxic and Tech type

Toxic Mechanics will be the best option between the two. However, before you do get your hand on a proper reactor make do with the ones that have the “Toxic” stat in it.

The best External Components for her will be the:

  • Venom Essence Set

It will significantly improve her Toxic skill capabilities.

How to play Freyna in The First Descendant

Freyna’s kit is pretty easy to grasp for players new to Nexon‘s shooter. She specializes in farming mobs with DoT effects and while she might not have a good deal of burst, her DPS over time can be massive if you are able to keep poisoning enemies around you.

When learning Freyna, you will need to master her Decomposed Poison skill. It will let you inflict enemies with poison and those who are affected will leave a trail of poison behind. This means that positioning with her will be key and choosing her targets wisely.

It’s always best to aim the swamp at a location where there is a mob of enemies. The more enemies you affect with the ability the more trials will they leave. This is where her passive will also kick in and you will get a tremendous boost to Freyna’s Toxic Skill power.

Here are some of Bunny’s pros and cons if you’re looking to main her in the shooter:

Pros:

  • One of the best DoT-type Descendants in the game.
  • Specializes in AoE clear and can take out mobs in an instant
  • Has a very high over-time DPS number
  • Is equally effective against hordes as well as bosses.

Cons:

  • Lacks any sort of burst potential and will not be able to nuke targets right away.
  • Playstyle heavily depends on how effectively she is using her kit and spreading Poison.
