Best Reactor and External Components

Luna’s playstyle revolves heavily around her skills, so when you are making her best build you will need to select a Reactor that makes the most of her Singularity powers.

So when picking her Reactor, this is the best choice you can go for:

  • Materialized Singularity: Boost to Non-Attribute and Singular type

Make sure to keep farming for better Reactors that provide improved passive stats to her skills and defense.

How to play Luna in The First Descendant

Luna is very hard to pilot as a solo player even with her DPS build. She is best used in a premade group and some even consider her an S-tier support Descendant when used in a party.

Her playstyle revolves heavily around buffing her allies in combat so you will constantly have to keep your eyes on your cooldowns and the position of your teammates.

Her DPS build is reliable at clearing AoE content but falls short of expectations when up against Void Intercept bosses. Moreover, locked Crystallized Sockets make it so that you can only fully optimize her build for either Support or DPS.

You cannot have both if you are completely min-maxing her. If you are going for a more budget build, you will be able to pivot between the two, but that will no longer be the case when you start using Crystallization Catalysts.

Here are some of the Pros and Cons of playing Luna in The First Descendant:

Pros:

  • Currently one of the best support choices for a premade team
  • Can boast a Support or a DPS build
  • Pretty tanky and can frontline for the rest of the team in most situations

Cons:

  • One of the hardest Descendants to pilot as a solo player
  • Rythm-based gameplay takes getting used to
  • Can be fully optimized for only one playstyle and not both
