The First Descendant has a lot of leveling systems that you will need to keep track of, with the most important one being the Master Rank. By improving your Master Rank you will be able to make your characters even stronger in the shooter. This is because improving your rank will grant you increased Descendant Module Capacity, increased Weapon Module, increased Storage, and more.
The leveling-system can be a bit complicated to grasp right away. So if you are struggling to grasp some of its nuances, here is a guide that will explain everything that you need to know about Master Rank in The First Descendant
What is Mastery in The First Descendant?
Mastery Rank is an account-wide leveling system in The First Descendant which you improve by earning EXP. Experience Points are earned by killing mobs, completing missions, and taking down bosses.
It’s a core part of progression in Nexon’s shooter, and you will need to keep increasing it to help your best Descendants get more powerful over time.
If you are new to the game you will be able to spot your Mastery level in your inventory, Just open the menu screen and you will see your rank in bright green.
How to get your Master Rank up in The First Descendant

To be able to get your Master Rank up in The First Descendant you will need to use the Arche Factor Manipulator Prime Hands in Albion. Once you have enough EXP to reach the next Mastery you will just need to make your way to the hub and then rank up.
You will not be able to reach the next Master Rank even if you reach the EXP threshold during a mission. You will need to go back to Albion after seeing a notification on the screen and then make your way to the eastern wing. Fortunately, your EXP stacks, and you will not be wasting any experience points even if you reach the threshold. The additional points will help you progress toward the latter level.
In a secluded room, next to a manipulator machine, you will find the Prime Hands. Use the Arche Factor Manipulator there and increase your rank.
Apart from completing missions, another way of increasing your Master Rank in The First Descendant will be to use Caliber. The premium currency will give you a significant boost to reach the next level.
What does increasing your Master Rank unlock in The First Descendant?

- Increased Descendant Module capacity and slots
- Increased Weapon Module capacity and slots
