Silverwind Nargacuga and Deadeye Yian Garuga are two incredibly OP monstie variants that you will be able to get your hands on as soon as you enter the Canalta Timberland in Monster Hunter Stories 3.
These are high-tier monsters whose S-rank variants you will want to obtain as soon as you start exploring the second region.
So if you are looking to get your hands on these monsties, then the guide below will help you out.
How to unlock Silverwind Nargacuga in Monster Hunter Stories 3

To get the Silverwind, you will first need to unlock the base Nargacuga variant. To do this, make sure you have unlocked the Blessing Hill camp as soon as you enter the new region. From there, head right and reach the area shown on the map below.
There will be a sort of small gap to cross, so use a flying monstie, and keep heading in till you reach a waterfall leading to a small lake with the Invasive Nerscylla scurrying around.
Repelling this Nerscylla is easy, as all you will need to do is use any Gun Lance’s Wyvern’s Fire against it when it targets you with the Invasive Death Scissors attack.

Try having Korra for this encounter, as she is going to help tank some of the initial rounds for you.
And once the monster finally targets you with the attack, hit it with Wyvern’s Fire, and you will meet the repel condition.
Just make sure you have enough stamina when the monster finally ends up aiming the attack at you, or you are going to get one-shot.
Once you repel the monster, you will unlock Nargacuga. It’s a high rank, normal speed-type monster that you might want to use in your party.
Now, to get the Silverwind variant, you will need to take the Nargacuga ecosystem rank to S in a region where there are at least two monsters that control the wind. These monsters include Great Izuchi, Legiana, and Paolumu.
Fortunately, Great Izuchi is native to both Blessing Hill and Howlinyowl Forest, so pick any one of the two and release some Paolumu there.
This lets you meet the requirement, and you can then start releasing more Nargacuga in the region to first unlock the Green Nargacuga variant and then the Silverwind Nargacuga.
It’s a normal speed-type monstie as well and is one of the higher-ranking variants that you will find in the region.
How to unlock Deadeye Yian Garuga in Monster Hunter Stories 3

For Yian Garuga’s Deadeye variant, you will need to raise the base variant’s rank to S in a region that has 3 or more monsters of equal or greater rank than the Yian Garuga.
Now the Yian GHow to get Silverwind Nargacuga and Deadeye Yian Garuga as soon as you reach Canalta Timberland in Stories 2aruga is native to the Howlinyowl Forest and has a 4-star monster rating. So you will just have to populate the place with monsters that have an equal or higher rank than it.
This can easily tie in with getting your hands on a Silverwind Nargacuga.
You can choose to release the normal Nargacuga in this sub-region, which will not only let you have fire variants of Green and Silverwind Nargacuga, but will also let you have an easier time unlocking Deadeye Yian Garuga.
While base Yian Garuga is a technical fire-type monstie, its Deadeye variant is a speed fire type.
