Kuro Games has officially revealed a lot of details on Wuthering Waves’ upcoming version 1.1 including a new release date, events, compensatory rewards, and two new characters.
The RPG dropped with a lot of performance issues along with problems with respect to the events and the Echo farming system. The developers will be handing out compensatory rewards for all the inconvenience ahead of the release of 1.1.
There will also be a double Echo farming event called “Chord Cleansing” which will go on for a limited time.
Below is a list of some of the things that the developers are looking to introduce in Wuthering Waves 1.1, along with all the events and compensatory rewards that are dropping before the new version release.
Wuthering Waves 1.1 release date
Kuro Games has preponed the release date for Wuthering Waves 1.1, and the version will now be released on June 28, 2023.
The compensatory rewards will come a bit earlier, and players will be able to get their hands on them on June 3, 2024.
Wuthering Waves version 1.1 details and compensatory rewards
1) New characters, area, and boss fight
With version 1.1, two canon characters will be coming to Wuthering Waves, along with a new boss fight, and a new area to explore in Solaris-3.
Characters:
- Jinhsi: The current magistrate of Jinzhou, who aids Jue
- Changli: She is Jinhsi’s master and acts as a counselor to the magistrate.
Boss:
- Sentinel Jue: A dragon boss encounter and someone you will fight as part of the store.
New explorable area:
- Mt. Firmament: New explorable area rumored to house Sentinel Jue.
2) Echo Development
Echo leveling currently feels a bit too grindy in Wuthering Waves with the RPG also lacking a Waveplates storage system. Kuro Games is aware of the issue and will be introducing the following changes in the current version and in 1.1.
Current Version
- Kuro Games will launch a limited-time Echo material double yield event “Chord Cleansing”.
Version 1.1:
- Kuro Games will adjust the progression system to reduce the Shell Credit costs of Echo development;
- Remove the reward cutscene of the Tacet Field
- The yield of Echoes and Echo development materials will be increased.
- Upcoming updates will bring in the Waveplates storage system.
3) Compensation rewads for error in Echo into Shell Credits recycling system
- All players will be provided extra compensation of Shell Credit ×1,000,000.
- Distribution Time: By 23:59 on June 10, 2024 (UTC+8)
- Eligibility: Character created and mailbox function unlocked before 10:00 on May 30, 2024 (UTC+8).
The compensation is valid until 05:59 on July 3, 2024 (UTC+8).
Further compensation for poor Echo system experience:
- Crystal Solvents ×20 (1 Crystal Solvent = 60 Waveplates).
- Distribution Time: 10:00 on June 3, 2024 (UTC+8)
- Eligibility: Mail function unlocked.
The compensation is valid until 05:59 on June 28, 2024 (UTC+8).
4) Compensation rewards for error in 5-Star Weapon Description
There were errors in localization and descriptions for many 5-star characters when Wuthering Waves launched. Kuro Games will be compensating all players with the following:
- Forging Tides ×5
- Distribution Time: 10:00 on June 3, 2024 (UTC+8)
- Eligibility: Mail function unlocked.
The compensation is valid until 05:59 on June 28, 2024 (UTC+8).
5) Wuthering Exploration: New limited-time special event
To compensate for the small duration and limited rewards that the “Overdash Club” event had to offer in Wuthering Waves, the developers will start a new special event called Wuthering Exploration”
- Event Duration: 2024-06-13 10:00 to 2024-06-27 03:59 (server time)
- Event Rewards:
- Astrites ×800
- Morphable Elite Class Echo I
- Morphable Elite Class Echo II
- Premium Tuner
- Premium Sealed Tube
6) All subsequent 1.0 content preponed
Kuro Games has preponed the release of all subsequent content that was scheduled for version 1.0. The events include the following:
- Companion Story “Solitary Path” for Resonator Yinlin
- Featured Resonator Convene event “When Thunder Pours” for Yinlin
- Limited-time challenge event “Alloy Smelt”
- Additional spin-off events
The new 1.0 content will drop on June 6, 2024, at 10:00 (UTC+8)
7) Compensation rewards for inconveniences caused by version timing adjustment
To compensate for the problems that arose due to version timing alignments, Kuro Games is giving away the following rewards:
- Radiant Tide ×10
- Distribution Time: 10:00 on June 3, 2024 (UTC+8)
- Eligibility: Mail function unlocked.
