Mortefi is one of the more powerful 4-star characters in Wuthering Waves and many would likely be looking to ascend and build him as they progress. He has the Fusion attribute and uses pistols making him quite the DPS powerhouse when used right.
However, there is some confusion in the community regarding his ascension materials and the best ways to farm them.

Best ways to farm Mortefi’s ascension materials in Wuthering Waves
1) Whisperin Core (LF/MF/HF/FF)
Whisperin core is a part of boss drops in Wuthering Waves. So to get them you will need to take part in Tacet Discords when exploring the open world. In the initial stages of the game, you will find the lower variants of them however, you can synthesize a higher tier from them as your Union Level goes up.
2) Coriolus Flowers
This Mortefi ascension material can be found around the Dim Forest. These plants are a type of fungi that grow on rocks and trees, and you will be able to interact with them to collect them. Just make sure to have all th Resonance Beacons in the area unlocked so that it’s easier for you to farm them every time your server resets.

3) Monument Bell
Monument Bell is only obtained by beating Bell-Borne Geochelone. It’s a difficult encounter and can be found at the Tolling Stream in Gorges of Spirit.
4) Phlogistons
Phlogistons can be obtained from the Backwater Pass: Flamespawn or the Herta Space Station: Destructible Objects. It can also be bought from the store in the middle of the Administrative District in Jarilo-VI with Shell Credits.
5) Rage Tacet Core
This one is probably the hardest to get as you will need to beat the Inferno Rider boss to get it. As you will require 46 of these for Mortefi, you will need to face it multiple times in the Port City of Guixu.
