“Save the World? Save the Cat!” is a very short and simple side quest that you will encounter in Wuthering Waves. All you will have to do to complete it is to search for a cat that has not returned to its master.
The quest is given to you by restaurant owner Xiaoju in Taoyuan Vile. There is a good bit of rewards to be had when completing the quest in the RPG, which include some crafting materials and Shell credits.

To begin the “Save the World? Save the Cat!” quest in Wuthering Waves, you will need to make your way to Taoyuan Vile by heading northwest from Jinzhou. Make your way to the Resonance Beacon in the area and you will find Xiaoju nearby.
Head to her and interact with her. Exhaust all of her dialogue options and you will know that her cat has not returned for quite some while. Once the conversation ends you will have activated the side mission.
How to start the “Save the World? Save the Cat!” quest in Wuthering Waves
To complete the mission, you will need to find Xiaoju’s missing cat Lulu. You will be able to find the cat by following the steps below:
- Make your way to the quest marker, but you will not see the cat anywhere in plain sight.
- So look for a huge cherry blossom tree in the. It should be somewhere behind Xiaoju on top of the cliff.
- You will need to climb the tree and on one of the higher branches you will spot Lulu.
- Interact with the cat and after a bit of scuffle, you will be able to get a hold of Lulu.
Once you have the cat, head back to Xiaoju, interact with her, and exhaust her dialogs to round out the quest.

After rounding out the quest you will get the following rewards:
