Tekken 8 Eddy Gordo combos

Eddy Gordo has some of the most powerful yet complex combos in the fighting game, which makes him a rewarding fighter to play with. Pace yourself to learn them properly, as the final execution is important.

Basic/BnB combos

Like the basic moves, BnB combos are much easier to execute. The goal is to catch an enemy off guard and launch them. You need some knowledge about frames to know when they have a disadvantage, which will come eventually.

As the name suggests, these combos converge from a counterhit, which is easy to land when the challenger launches an attack.

Tekken 8 Eddy Gordo playstyle

Tekken 8’s Eddy has retained a lot of the powerful mixups from Bandai Namco‘s previous franchise entries. Ideally, you would want to shift between his stances to keep the enemy guessing about the next move. The Negativa posture in particular can be converged into various mids and low attacks, which is something a challenger has to be wary of since there is nothing worse than getting trapped in Eddy’s long attack sequence.

Yes, he can be punished for his extended moves. Hence, it is also important to use his poking tools to bait out an unsupervised attack. Needless to say, he has excellent frame data, which is more than enough to qualify him as an excellent fighter in the title.
