EA FC 25 releases for both PC and consoles on September 26, 2024 – ushering in a new age of sports games. This is the second entry in the EA Sports FC franchise, with the first being EA FC 24 that was released last year.
Despite being a current-gen video game, EA FC 25 demands modest PC system requirements for both its minimum and recommended configs, which can be found detailed below.
EA FC 25 PC system requirements
Minimum
- Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or an Intel Core i5 6600K
- RAM: 8 GB
- GPU: AMD RX 570 or an Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti
- DirectX: DirectX 12 support
- Storage: 100 GB
- Sound Card: DirectX 12 compatible hardware required, with feature level 12_0 support
Recommended
- Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit or newer, with the latest updates
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700x or an Intel Core i7 6700 or newer
- RAM: 12 GB or higher
- GPU: AMD RX 5600 XT or an Nvidia GTX 1660; newer cards will fare better
- Storage: 100 GB fast NVMe SSD (non-SATA based)
- Sound Card: DirectX 12 compatible hardware mandatory, with feature level 12_0 support
These configs should scale relatively well with current-gen PC hardware. EA FC 25 does not seem to be a very graphically demanding title, and players should be able to get the game up and running on relatively low powered hardware such as the Steam Deck and ASUS ROG Ally.
The optimization of the PC port still remains a mystery though.
Modern, fast NVMe based drives are absolutely essential to prevent slow loading times and stuttering during gameplay – something which is curiously absent within the official system requirements.
A stable, fast broadband internet connection is mandatory for accessing the game. Additional voice overs and subtitle work languages are available as a separate download.
