Best Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 ROG Ally settings

Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 is a technical showcase of Focus Interactive’s best visual presentation to date, and as such can be quite taxing on PC hardware. Handheld gaming PCs in particular, may have a hard time running this game – especially when trying to maintain a relatively modest power profile, with a focus on battery life in mind.

As such, the best Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 settings for the ASUS ROG Ally will take into consideration a 30 FPS target, along with prioritizing a higher TDP over battery life.

Expect between 30 to 40 frames per second on the 25 W Turbo preset, depending on the intensity of the battles taking place. It might be worthwhile to try and cap the game to 30 FPS in order to ensure more consistent performance.

Battery life should range between 1.5 to 2 hours on the original ROG Ally, while those with the ROG Ally X should see roughly double the battery life (3-4 hours).

As such, the ROG Ally X remains a better choice for this particular game, thanks to its massively upgraded battery and 24 GB of shared system RAM.
