Minecraft texture packs

PC

  • Use the official game launcher for Minecraft.

  • Fire up the Google Play Store and make your way to the Minecraft page in Games.
  • There should be an ‘Update’ button now.
  • Begin updating, and wait for it to finish.

iOS

  • Head on over to the App Store.
  • Search for Minecraft.
  • There should be an Update button right next to the game’s landing page.
  • Hit Update and wait for it to finish.

Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2

  • Fire up your console, and select the Minecraft install.
  • Assuming you are connected to the internet, there should be an immediate pop-up prompting you for the update.
  • Choose Update, and wait for it to finish before launching your game.
  • If you missed this, you can always manually initiate the update by using the +/- buttons on the Joycons to bring up the menu. From here, choose the appropriate option and begin the update process.
