Skirk is widely leaked to be one of the upcoming playable characters released in Genshin Impact Version 5.7. She is expected to be a Cryo Sword character.
Further leaks on Reddit via leaker HomDGRat have given players a deeper insight into her potential kit and some of her best character pairings.

Genshin Impact leaks discuss Skirk’s best team, Dahlia release window, and more
According to the latest leaks, Skirk’s kit revolves heavily around having Hydro and Cryo characters in her team.
Without them, there might be a 30% decrease in her damage output, and is therefore expected to perform much worse without Cryo and Hydro characters in her team.
This is quite reminiscent of Chevreuse’s kit, where she functions significantly weaker without the presence of Pyro and Electro characters in her team.
Furthermore, her best team is rumored to feature Escoffier, Furina and Yelan/Shenhe. This would align with the previous information in the leaks.
Escoffier is set to release in Genshin Impact Version 5.6, and was already leaked to be the BiS support for Skirk down the line.
Another part of the leak mentions her C2 is not optimal. However, most 5-star DPS characters have extremely powerful C2s, which puts some doubt to this particular claim.
Additionally, Skirk’s energy mechanic is noted to be simple but there is no further information on how her energy system works in-game.
Finally, Dahlia is expected to be released in Version 5.7 alongside Skirk. Dahlia is a deacon from the Church of Favonius. He is rumored to be a Sword user as well but his element is currently unknown.
If we go by the usual Genshin Impact release dates for each patch, Version 5.7 will be released on June 18, 2025. Therefore, it gives plenty of time for players that want to get both Skirk and Escoffier to pair them up.
