Hollow Knight Silksong‘s Act 3 is not something that is easily accessible to players. There are certain conditions that you will need to meet to unlock it, and if you don’t, then you will be rolling the credits at the end of Act 2.
To unlock Act 3, you will need to complete the Silk and Soul Wayfarer Wish before heading into the fight with Grand Mother Silk. This is a secret Wish in the game that you will only be able to access after completing a considerable amount of the game’s side content.

How to unlock Act 3 in Hollow Knight Silksong
1) Unlock Silk and Soul Wish
As mentioned, to unlock Act 3 of Hollow Knight Silksong, you will first need to unlock the Silk and Soul Wish. To unlock this Wish, you will need to complete every single Wish that is available in the game.
These Wishes will also include all the Delivery, Donate, and Gather wishes as well. Here is a list of all the wishes that you will need to complete to unlock the Silk and Soul Wish:

Once you complete Bellhart’s Glory, speak to Pavo in Bellhart to get your own Bellhome. Now, after completing all the Wishes, make sure to collect at least 25 fleas and then have Fleamaster Mooshka move the caravan three times so that it reaches the Putrefied Ducts area.
Then make our way over to the Caretaker, who will now come up with a plan to take down Grand Mother Silk.
2) Complete Silk and Soul
Here are some of the steps you will need to take to complete the Silk and Soul Wish in Hollow Knight Silksong:
Step 1: Get the Maiden’s Soul
To obtain the Maiden’s Soul, you will need to speak to the Maiden in Bone Bottom. She will usually show up after you rest at the bench and trigger a second Skull Tyrant encounter.
Step 2: Get the Hermit’s Soul
For the next step, you will need to obtain the Hermit’s Soul. You will be able to do this by speaking to Bell Hermit in the pipe that is located beneath Bellhart Bellway. However, to access the pipe, you will need to break the fake wall which is to the right of the Bellway room.
Step 3: Get the Seeker’s Soul
The Seeker’s Soul can be obtained from the abandoned home, which is located to the left of the bench which is at the top of Bilewater.
Step 4: Get the Snare Setter
The Snare Setter is present on the table in the area which is above the bench in Weavenest Atla. To gain access to Weavenest Atla, however, you will need to open the Needolin door, which is below Bone Bottom.
Step 5: Hand over the components to the caretaker
Once you have obtained all four of the items, you will then have to head back to the Caretaker and give them to him. This will allow the NPC to finally make the trap.
How to begin Hollow Knight Silksong Act 3
Act 3 will allow you to enjoy some additional story content in Hollow Knight Silksong. Along with more narrative, you will also be able to take on more bosses who are going to be significantly more difficult than the ones from the previous Act.
So, once you have met all the requirements stated above, you will then need to head to the top of The Cradel. Just before your fight with the Grand Mother Silk, you will now meet the Caretaker there, who will tell you that the trap has been set.
All you will need to do to trigger is to play the Needolin. So, once you complete the boss encounter with Grand Mother Silk, trigger the trap instead of binding her.
This unlocks the third ending of the game and will exit to the title screen after the cutscene. However, when you go back to reload our save, you will see that some vines are blocking access.
Press the action button multiple times to break the vines, and once you do, you will now be able to access your save. When you log into Pharloom, you will now be able to automatically start Act 3 of Hollow Knight Silksong.
