It happened after her public display of mourning on the podium in Arizona, and especially after her first podcast as Turning Point USA’s CEO. A large audience is now questioning her on social media. As per them, her grief is not authentic. Also, now she has become the focus point of many heated debates, with many critics labeling her actions to be nothing but performative. As per them, she does not appear like how a grieving widow should be.

On social media platforms like X, Erika is facing a lot of criticism. Users have started to dissect the statements of Erika Kirk, her movements and acts and more. There is also a consensus amongst all the detractors that Erika’s composure isn’t like a woman who lost her husband a few weeks ago.
An X user has pointedly questioned, “Erika Kirk must have superhuman powers of composure.” “I just don’t understand how your husband and the father of your children is brutally assassinated and less than two weeks later your smiling, laughing, working and carrying on with business as usual,” added the user ahead.

The user further stated, “How many wives out there could act like this 2 weeks after your husband was assassinated in front of the entire world?”
The users are even doubting her tears. As per them, she is seen drying her eyes all the time, but they have “never seen any tears.”
One didn’t even stop at criticism. The user just went ahead to compare a man’s and a woman’s grief, with two side-by-side pictures and a caption reading, “When a man loses the love of his life vs Erika Kirk.”
Erika’s recent appearance on Turning Point USA also got judged. “Erika Kirk brags about unused Charlie Kirk material that they have recorded. Does anyone else find this strange? Especially the way she’s laughing….🤔🤔🤔,” said the user, judging the widow.

Beyond the criticism received by Erika, the situation is now fueling various conspiracy theories. Questions about her relationship to allegations about her being involved in some illeg@l aspects are also appearing on social media. There are many who are openly saying that everyone involved in this tragic event, including Donald Trump, Erika Kirk, Charlie Kirk, etc., is an actor and that it’s “all staged.”
As per a few, it’s all just some cover-up and “damage control.”
Adding one more layer of questioning and criticism, Nick Fuentes even introduced an unexpected angle. As per him, the relationship between Kirk and his was not how it seemed. A user sharing his views said, “Nick Fuentes believes that Charlie & Erika Kirk were an Arranged Marriage.” “They met at Bohemian Grove.” Nick also has many questions about Erika, about how quickly she took over TPUSA & more,” the user added ahead.
Some are even mocking her, saying, “Erika Kirk should be TIME’s Woman Of The Year.”
The X users didn’t stop there. The user compared Erika’s grieving with that of a popular streamer, Asmongold. “Asmongold grieves the loss of his Father. He hasn’t streamed in almost a month. Erika Kirk’s husband got shot in the neck 2 weeks ago & she’s smiling after taking over his company,” said the user.
Amidst all the backlash, Erika and her message have also been receiving some support. As per the post made by an X user, her words deeply affected him, especially after she decided to forgive the shooter. “I have struggled for over 60 years to forgive the man who killed my Dad. I will say those words now as I type: “ I forgive the man who killed my father.” Peace be with you all,” added the user.
The intense reaction through comments and posts on X showcases how this tragedy has been turned into a spectacle. Not to mention, it is full of interpretations and skepticism. The worst is that people are just continuing to believe that something isn’t adding up, with many worried, ” What if this feeling comes true?”
