With the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, a lot of amazing sorceries have made their way to Elden Ring. While some of these spells are amazing at cleaning out a mob, others are more single-target focused and can let you cheese through some of the bigger and tougher enemies
So if you are maxing Int and Faith, there are some amazing sorceries that you will be able to get your hands on while exploring the Land of Shadow.
Here is a list of some of the best sorceries in Elden RIng Shadow of the Erdtree and where to find them.
5 OP Sorceries in Elden Ring shadow of the Erdtree and where to find them
1) Impenetrable Thorns

A fair number of Thorn Sorceries were added with the DLC, and the most overpowered one among them is the Impenetrable Thorns. When used, you will be able to summon the Scadutree’s impenetrable thorns from the ground and deal massive damage to the enemy in a small AoE.
You can repeatedly cast this spell over and over, and charging it will increase the range and width of how far this sorcery can go. Moreover, the spell also causes bleed build-up on you and on the enemy. Fortunately, the Hemorrhage build-up on your character is negligible and you will need to cast the spell many times for it to proc.
You will find Impenetrable Thorns in the Shadow Keep. From the Storehouse, Seventh Floor Site of Grace make your way across the center of the storeroom. Now pull the lever to rotate the center beam and then make your way outside. Finally, walk off the ledge, you will spot a bat there, along with a corpse with the spell on it.
2) Rings of Spectral Light

Rings of Spectral Light is one of the best spells that you will get early in Shadow of the Erdtree. It’s a great pick for Int-Faith builds and when used you will create multiple rings of dim spectral light. After a brief channel period, it will fly towards the enemy, damaging and staggering them.
Charging it up will increase the number of rings that come out and what makes this even more amazing is the fact that it builds up Frostbite. Once Frostbite procs enemies will take more damage from you making the Rings of Spectral Light a great tool in boss encounters.
The spell is especially useful if you have a summon that is distracting the enemy. As it also has great stagger value, your co-op buddy or Spirit Ash will have a much easier time taking down the boss.
You will be able to get your hands on the Rings of Spectral Light in Charo’s Hidden Grave. Explore the area till you come across a giant bird statue that is surrounded by several bird enemies. Take them out and you will find the spell there right in front of the bust.
3) Fleeting Microcosm

Fleeting Microcosm is a finger sorcery that will let you conjure the image of a microcosm at a foe’s feet which then rises up and pulses. After one pulse, it will burst, dealing massive damage in a large AoE.
This spells is very difficult to block against, as after it rises it sort of stays behind and above the enemy’s head. So if an enemy is blocking and approaching you, this spell will go off and the enemy will take the entire damage from it.
However, there are a few downsides to the sorcery, one is the cast time and the other is the amount of FP that it takes. So it’s best to rely on it when you have a summon that is distracting the enemy.
You will be able to get the Fleeting Microcosm by purchasing it from Count Ymir after you have rung the second bell. It’s part of the Manus Metyr questline, and you will need a fair bit of progress before you get to purchase the spell.
4) Gravitational Missile

The Gravitational Missile is one of the best sorceries in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree for clearing out mobs. It’s also amazing at crowd-controlling enemies allowing you to have a much easier time if you are getting ambushed or ganked by a mob.
It’s a glintstone sorcery that manipulates gravitational forces. When you fire it, a projectile will go out in the target location and constantly pull in enemies before finally exploding in a large AoE.
You can charge this to increase the radius of the potency of the gravitational field. What makes it such an amazing spell is that you can fight within the AoE.
While enemies are constantly getting pulled in, you will be able to hit and damage them. After a few pulls the projectile will detonate and do an incredible amount of damage.
You will get the Gravitational Missile as a drop from the Fallingstar Beast which can be located in a large crater in Fingerstone Hill.
5) Rellana’s Twin Moons

Rellana’s Twin Moons is one of the hardest-hitting sorcery which was introduced with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. It will nuke mobs and bosses but it comes with a pretty steep FP cost and a 2-slot requirement.
When used you will make twin moons which will overlap one another and then crash onto the ground creating two separate AoE blasts. Each individual explosion deals a massive amount of damage, however, to make the most of the spell you will need to be in point-blank range of the enemy.
Fortunately, once cast animation starts and your character floats into the air to create the moons, you will not get staggered out of the channel. While you will take damage from enemy hits, you will still be able to cast the spell.
You obtain Rellana’s Twin Moons by beating the boss in Castle Ensis and it’s going to be one of the hardest boss fights in the DLC. After you beat Rellana you will be able to trade in the Remembrance of the Twin Moon Knight to Enia for the sorcery.
These are currently some of the best sorceries that you will get your hands on in FromSoftware’s latest DLC.
