Dataslates are special collectibles that you will come across in each of the missions in Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2. These encrypted audio logs record the incidents that Marines and others witnessed in the ongoing war efforts and will often contain data on the final moments of Marines and info into strategy and enemy weaknesses.

You will find the very first Space Marine 2 Dataslate in Skyfire. Head left once you reach the area and you will be able to locate it behind some explosive plants.

Skyfire Dataslate 2
Found near the broken bridge. Make your way to the other side and look down to the right.
The Dataslate holds a record of Captain Iden’s orders.
Skyfire Dataslate 3
This Skyfire Dataslate is located after you enter the room filled with Xeno bodies. Make your way through the room and then up the stairs.
This slate too gives more info on the threat that the Marines are facing.
Skyfire Dataslate 4
The fourth slate of the area is found behind the elevator that leads to the satellite dish.
The slate provides more info on the preparations that are made to protect machine spirits.
Inferno Dataslates:

The first Inferno Dataslate is found at the start of the level behind the bunker.
The slate talks about the supply logistics and Munitorum regulations.

The next Dataslate is found while making your way to the observation platform. Make your way into a room across a destroyed bridge.
The slate records Marines who discuss the burning scent of Promethium.
Severance Dataslate:

The first Severance Dataslate is found near a small base near a bridge. You will locate it behind a tank.

The next Severance Dataslate can be found in the Adeptus Mechanicus facility. Look for it near a red light behind the entrance room.
The slate talks about what the Marines had to go through during the war.
Severance Dataslate 3
You will find this Dataslate in a room where there is an unmarked green console.
Shows data on Marines taking on Tyranids.
Severance Dataslate 4
Once you get access to jetpacks you will be able to enter a cave where there is a ledge on the left.
The final Severance Dataslate documents a very early fight between Xenos forces and the marines.

The first Space Marine 2 Dataslate of the area is found near a collapsed bridge on the ledge to the left.

Head to the hallway that has a Tyranid silhouette and then turn right till you reach some candles. Then head left to find a body with the slate near it.
Contains a lot of info on enemy behavior.

Head through the corridor after beating Carnifex and you will find the slate on the right.
Records the Marines’ post-battle plans.

The slate contains details on the Arch-Enemy’s sorcery and dark powers.

Use the jetpack to head through a set of double doors to find the slate on the ledge.

Head to the chamber of burning bodies. You will find the slate hidden in a corner close to the burning mount.
Talks about all the horrors that the marines had to face in their operations.

To find the first Reliquary Dataslate in Space Marine 2 you will need to make your way to the green console room. Then head up the platform located to the left to obtain the slate.

Found in the first checkpoint building after you have avoided the Hellbringer fire.

The first Dawn’s Descent Dataslate is found near the tombstones that are located to the left of the entrance to the floating church.

Head down the stairs after the battle barge cutscene. You will find the slate at the bottom.
Talks about the most recent battle and the steps that the Marines will take afterward.
Dawn’s Descent Dataslate 3
You will find this Space Marine 2 Dataslate near a set of pillars. You will reach there after destroying the eye altar.
Documents the dark rituals that were going on in the area.
Dawn’s Descent Dataslate 4
Remove the yellow blockade and then make your way up the hill. You will find this slate next to a body.

Bellum Sempiternus Dataslate 2
You will find this slate at the back left side of the burial chamber.
Describes the temporary resting spot given to fallen Marines and what ultimately happens to them.
Bellum Sempiternus Dataslate 3
Head through the crystallized door and turn the second obelisk to find the final Dataslate in Space Marine 2.
