So as you make your way to newer chapters, it’s important to not only focus on getting the best armor sets and weapon upgrades but also on improving the base character stats.

How to increase health, mana, and stamina in Black Myth Wukong
There are three main ways by which you will be able to upgrade the health, mana, and stamina of the Destined One in Black Myth Wukong:
All Celestial Jade Pill locations in Black Myth Wukong
As you make your way through the different regions and chapters you will receive Jade Pills that increase your stats in Black Myth Wukong. There are three types of Jade Pills in the game:
- Lotus: Increases max HP
- Taiyi: Increases max Mana
- Nonary: Increases max Stamina
Here is the location of every Jade Pill across all the chapters in Black Myth Wukong:
Chapter 1 Jade Pill locations

Chapter 2 Jade Pill locations

| Taiyi | Mana upgrade | For this Jade Pill, you will need to beat the Stone Vanguard boss in Black Myth Wukong. Once the boss is done, make your way past the stage and you will face the Rat Governor. Beat this enemy to gain access to the pill. |

Chapter 5 Jade Pill locations

| Nonary | Stamina upgrade | After gaining access to the secret area in Chapter 5 you will need to beat the Top Takes Bottom, Bottom Takes Top boss and then find the altar with the will right before you reach the new area. |
Crafting Celestial Medicine in Black Myth Wukong
Once you reach Chapter 2 in Black Myth Wukong you will be able to unlock the medicine crafting function as you encounter Xu Dog. You will encounter the NPC again in the Crouching Tiger Temple, Cellar waypoint.
This time you will have the Celestial Medicines option under the Make Medicines tab. You will then be able to use all the Mind Cores that you have collected throughout your journey to increase various attributes like health, mana, and stamina, along with resistances to status effects like chill, burn, poison as well a shock.
However, do keep in mind that these Celestial Pills will provide a much smaller boost to attributes compared to the Jade Pills that you receive by exploring the areas in the different chapters.
Additionally, you will also be able to reset all the Mind Cores that you have invested by clicking on the “Remake Celestial Medicines” option when talking to Xu Dog.
How to get the Five Skandhas Pill in Black Myth Wukong
You will obtain a total of five Skandhas keys throughout your journey in Blakc Myth Wukong. Once you have them all, you will be able to bring them to Xu Dog and he will craft you the Five Skandha’s Pill.
Once you make and use this pill you will be able to increase multiple attributes of the Destined One.
Increasing these base attributes like health, stamina, and mana in Black Myth Wukong will help make some of the hardest bosses in the game significantly more manageable.
