Void Intercept Battles are the boss fights in The First Descendant and you can take part in many but after meeting certain requirements.
Nexon’s latest looter shooter offers eight Void Intercept bosses to fight. These creatures are massive and take a team effort and a proper strategy to defeat them. Beating Void Intercept bosses helps you earn important resources like Amorphous Materials and Descendant blueprints.
How to unlock Void Intercept Battles
Void Intercept Battles are of two types – Normal and Hard. Normal Void Intercept Battles are a part of the main campaign and you unlock them by simply progressing with the story.
Hard Void Intercept Battles require an extra step. You need to unlock the Colossi from Another Dimension Quest which allows you to fight Executioner in Hard mode. Only after that, you can face these tougher bosses with much more wrath.

You can choose the difficulty of these battles by talking to Seneca, the Void Intercept Battle Researcher in Albion.
The other way to access them is by opening the map and clicking on the purple Void Intercept buttons on the bottom left of the screen.
Normal
Void Intercept Boss | Level | Quest needed to unlock |
---|---|---|
Grave Walker | 10 | Humanity’s Scourge |
Stunning Beauty | 22 | Mysterious Attraction |
Executioner | 34 | Void Radar Upgrade |
Dead Bride | 44 | The Consequences of Jeremy’s Actions |
Devourer | 54 | Continuing Threat |
Pyromaniac | 66 | Karel’s Trap |
Swamp Walker | 82 | Turning Crisis into Opportunity |
Hanged Man | 95 | A Certain Prologue |

Hard
Void Intercept Boss | Level |
---|---|
Executioner | 102 |
Dead Bride | 106 |
Devourer | 110 |
Pyromaniac | 114 |
Swamp Walker | 118 |

Only Obstructor, Frost Walker, and Molten Fortress are exclusive to the Hard mode of these battles. You can fight them while still playing the game in the normal mode.
You can unlock each of them after defeating the previous boss. For example, to intercept Dead Bride, you have to defeat Executioner first.
Engaging in boss fights means you must have the best build equipped for whichever Descendant you’re playing as. We have got you covered in that department, so be sure to check our Sharen, Bunny, Freyna, Valby, Viessa, and Gley build guides.
