Runes are a core part of the Dungeon mechanic in Arise Crossover. They will be crucial when you are looking to farm certain late-game gear in the game, as Runes will help you modify the dungeon, allowing you to alter the challenges that you face in it.
Getting your hands on some of the most powerful weapons in the game and then upgrading them will help you go a long way in making your character as powerful as possible. Runes and dungeons will make this grind a lot easier, so if you are looking to make the most of this system, then the guide below will help you out.
How do Runes work in Arise Crossover?

As mentioned, Runes are special items that will allow you to modify certain properties of Dungeons in Arise Crossover. You will be able to use it before entering a dungeon, and replace the boss and mobs of that Dungeon with the ones from another.
This will let you target farm certain enemies in the Roblox game, eventually allowing you to upgrade the difficulty to the SS rank.
How to use Runes in Arise Crossover
In Arise Crossover, you will get to use a Rune before starting a Dungeon. Now, based on the difficulty tier of the Dungeon, the number of Runes that you can use on it will also differ.
Runes are very rare items in the game, so it’s best to reserve them for the most difficult Dungeons, which will offer you the best shadows in the game. Content like the Dedu Island raid can be a great example of where you should be looking to invest your Runes.
How to farm Runes in Arise Crossover

Runes are obtained by two methods: either by completing Dungeons or by purchasing them from the Rune Shop NPC with the use of Tickets. The first one is quite self-explanatory, and there is a fair bit of RnG involved in the process of getting Runes as a drop.
For the latter, however, you will need to find the Guild building that is near the Shadow Upgrader NPC. Here, take the elevator to the upper floor, and in the central area, you will then find the Rune Shop NPC here.
You’ll need a fair number of tickets to purchase Runes in Arise Crossover. There are two main ways by which you can acquire these tickets:
1) Completing Dungeons
Dungeons will drop 10 Tickets when you complete them for the first time. However, that value will keep going down with subsequent runs. So while it’s a reliable method, it’s not something that you depend on in the long run.
2) Being AFK
This method is much simpler, and all you will need to do is remain AFK in the Rewards Lobby. When you are not actively playing the game, just place your character here and you will have a chance to obtain some Tickets every 5 minutes.
