Aurora Gaming claimed the top spot in the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Skyesports Masters 2024 after defeating OG with a 3-1 scoreline on Sunday, April 14.
With this victory, Aurora Gaming has secured a spot in the Skyesports 2024 Championship, and are taking home the Grand Prize of $105,000.
The map-wise results for the Grand Final of the tournament are as follows:
- Anubis: 13-6 (Aurora Gaming)
- Mirage: 11-13 (OG)
- Ancient: 13-10 (Aurora Gaming)
- Overpass: 13-3 (Aurora Gaming)
The CS2 Skyesports Masters tournament ran through 8-14 April, and saw 8 teams from India and Europe participate in the group stages.
According to the Esports Charts, this CS2 tournament had a peak viewership of 41,833, with the Grand Finals drawing a whopping 19,617 viewers.
Aurora Gaming were on a winning streak heading into the tournament and were the crowd favorites, given their performance over their past few matches.
OG on the other hand, didn’t have a great start to the tournament. They lost to Aurora Gaming in the opening rounds of the tournament and had to fight their way through the lower-bracket all the way till the Grand Finals.
It’s safe to state that the Grand Finals for the Skyesports Masters 2024 was a grudge match, where OG was looking to settle the scores with Aurora Gaming.
The latter however went in all guns blazing after conceding a map to OG, and finally claimed the crown with a 3-1 score line.
Apart from OG and Aurora Gaming, six other teams were a part of this tournament. They are as follows:

- God’s Reign

Aurora Gaming will be back in action during the Skyesports 2024 Championship, the dates for which are yet to be announced.
