Best Staff-Longbow PvE build in Throne and Liberty

The best Staff-Longbow build in Throne and Liberty makes the most of the single-target damage that the weapon combo brings to the table. With the correct setup, you will be able to use them to melt enemies from a screen away and be a DPS powerhouse for your party especially when it comes to boss encounters in the MMO.

However, the build is a bit difficult to pilot if you are clearing content solo. This is because you will need to rely heavily on spells like Serial Fire Bombas and Infernal Meteor both of which need a cast time.

You will have to constantly cancel cast and reposition if you do not want to be killed by the enemy. But once you master the set-up or have a Sword and Shield-Greatsword user in your party who can frontline, this build can cheese through content very fast.

Staff-Longbow build overview

Staff-Longbow Throne and Liberty

This build will focus on making the most of spells like Serial Fir Bombs, Infernal Meteor, and Decisive Sniping. Deadly Marker will also be a core part of the build as it will let have lower cooldowns and with Rapid Fire Stance and Sniper Sense you will have a skill rotation that has a constant DPS uptime.

However, as mentioned before, as it’s a spell-heavy build, you will need to cast cancel and reposition often if you are playing solo. So make sure to have some defensive skills so that you can have an easier time surviving if you are caught by enemy CC.

When making the build, make sure to focus on Strength and Perception first. The former will improve your survivability and Heavy Attack Chance while the latter will increase buff duration. So put 50 in Strength and 40 in Perception first. Then out the rest of the points in Dexterity to improve Crit Hit Rate and your overall DPS output.

Pros and Cons of the Staff-Longbow Longbow build in Throne and Liberty

Pros:

  • Has amazing single-target DPS with good AoE clear.
  • One of the safer builds to pilot as it will let you take enemies down from a long range.
  • Has good self-sustain and is a great backline pick for most party compositions.

Cons:

  • The build is very mana-hungry and you will need to keep an eye out on the resource to manage it.
  • As it relies of casting spells you will often be locked in animation and forced to cancel casts if you are clearing content solo.
