One great thing about Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and its Zombie experience is the ability to customize the HUD. After all, many players will sink their teeth into enjoying the popular game mode, which has become a staple of the Call of Duty and Black Ops experience on PC and consoles.
Some players might prefer a minimal experience, giving only the essential information while others might want the cleanest screen possible, only giving them the bullet and health count.
Fortunately, you can achieve all that in the latest first-person shooter. Here’s how you do it.
How to customize your Zombies HUD
- Launch your Call of Duty Black Ops 6 game, and head into the Zombies mode.
- Open your settings menu and go to the interface setting. This should be the option after Audio.
- Once in the Interface setting, navigate to the Gameplay HUD option. This is where the magic happens.
- Select your desired changes and exit the options.
Like the main game, the Zombies experience lets you customize the heads-up display properly. Whether you want to change the size of the mini-map or how your crosshair looks, everything is available for you to sift through.
The customization options are pretty robust and can make your entire experience different from your friend’s. For example, you can make the minimap small or remove the Zombie kill pop-ups altogether.
You can also remove the equipment display from the screen and the score pop-up, shift the objective to the corners of the screen, and make it something tied to your needs. However, you won’t be able to move the UI elements from where they are currently.

Ultimately, it all boils down to personal preferences and what you want on your screen. If you like the classic look, you can keep the default settings.
Alternatively, if you prefer a minimalistic look, you can remove most items from your screen.
