Destiny 2 Solstice 2025 Event Guide

Solstice is one of the four main events that Bungie celebrates in the world of Destiny 2, and alongside Edge of Fate, it’s recieved a massive overhaul.

The biggest change this year is that there’s no dedicated event, like we used to have before. Instead, everything is available within the Portal itself.

However, everyone’s favorite grandma, Eva Levante, is back in the Tower, but this time, she’s brought the Solstice Foundry with her. Here, you can trade in your Solstice Alloy to claim Tier 5 gear.

Everything We Know About Destiny 2 Solstice 2025

While the event has a new and a refreshed look, Destiny 2 Solstice 2025 isn’t very different from what we saw previously.

There are new weapons, armor sets, cosmetics, and a lot of other rewards for you to chase down. Bungie has also introduced a brand-new set of modifiers to make the game more challenging for you.

With that said, here’s everything you need to know about this event:

Destiny 2 Solstice 2025 Schedule

Solstice 2025 is currently live in Destiny 2, and started on August 5, right after Arms Week ended. This event will last for two weeks, and is scheduled to end on August 19 with the weekly reset on Tuesday.

Once the event is over, you will have to wait for an entire year, to get your hands on a fresh set of glowing armor pieces once again.

New Weapons Armor Sets

Just like every other year, this year’s event also brings two new armor sets to Sol. The first one is a beach-themed armor set, which you can buy for 1500 Silver or 6000 Bright Dust.

The other armor set is just a recolor of the 2019 one, but you get that by playing through and unlocking the armor at the Solstice Forge.

The latter has a glowing effect to it too, and you can upgrade it by completing different activities during the event.

Apart from these, you can earn three new weapons during this event. They are:

  • Festival Flight (Strand Rocket Launcher)
  • Yeartide Apex (Solar Submachine Gun)
  • Fortunate Star (Void Bow)

Each weapon has its unique holofoil variant too, which has a beach theme associated with it, similar to the armor sets in the item shop.
