With the Diablo 4 Season 8 release date almost here, the devs are bringing a wealth of content for everyone to explore. With this new season, Blizzard has slowed down the leveling process considerably, which is an incredibly bold step.
While slow leveling is appreciated, Path of Exile 2 has done something similar which provoked massive backlash from the community.
There is, however, a lot that you can look forward to once the new Diablo 4 Season goes live. From the new Reliquary system to new boss powers, this season is giving some of the major mechanics a massive and much needed overhaul.
When does Diablo 4 Season 8 go live for all regions?
Based on the information revealed by Blizzard, Diablo 4 Season 8 is set to release on April 29 at 10 AM PT. The season was initially scheduled to drop on April 11, but the developers wanted to push it back by a few days to polish the content.
Keeping in mind the date and time mentioned above, here’s an estimated time for when it should be available across the globe:
- EDT: 1 pm
- BST: 6 pm
- CEST: 7 pm
- IST: 10:30 pm
- CST: 2 am (April 30, 2025)
- JST: 3 am (April 30, 2025)
- AEST: 5 am (April 30, 2025)
It’s unlikely that Diablo 4 will have any specific maintainence downtime prior to the launch of the season, but you won’t be able to access it unless you’ve downloaded the new update.
Even after downloading the new update, you might have difficulty getting into the game because it’s a new season and a lot of players might be trying to get in at the same time.
So, in case you experience some difficulties while logging in, it’s worth waiting out an hour or two before trying to go back in again. The servers should ease up by then, allowing you to smoothly get into Sanctuary and deal with whatever problems that Belial is creating.
