With Diablo 4 Season 5, Season of the Infernal Hordes finally going live, you might just be looking for some of the best and fastest ways to level your character to 100. With every seasonal content drop not only is your character reset but the RPG also changes up the fastest ways to progress through your levels.
Season 5 adds the Infernal Hordes mechanic which is the endgame content that you can access once you reach World Tier 3. While it’s great at helping you level up, it is not particularly the best method for it.
Here is a guide on how you to level up fast in Diablo 4 Season 5.
Fastest way to level to 100 in Diablo 4 Season of the Infernal Hordes

With the recent updates, you will be rewarded the same amount of XP for defeating high-level foes irrespective of the level you are on. As Profane Mindcages stack, XP farming has become much easier in Diablo 4.
Previously if your character was at level 60 then defeating a level 80 enemy would net you XP that a level 70 enemy would give. However, now slaying a level 80 enemy will net XP that you would generally get upon defeating an enemy of that tier.
This makes most end-game content including Infernal Hordes amazing at gaining levels if you have just reached World Tier 3. But the fastest way of gaining levels in Diablo 4 will be through completing Helltide missions.
Helltides are great for both solo players and those who love to grind dungeons with a party. This is because enemy HP does not scale with the number of players, making it much easier to clear in a group.
Additionally, the amount of XP you gain from completing them is a lot. These missions also spawn a lot of elite mobs making them one of the best sources for Mother’s Gift.
How to reach level 100 fast in Diablo 4 Season 5

Here is one of the best routes to follow to reach level 100 fast in Diablo 4 Season 5:
- The first thing you will need to do is to create a Seasonal Character and then begin the game in World Tier 2. Make sure you are skipping the main story.
- Complete “Well-Behaved Dog” to get a Pet. Equip it by accessing the Wardrobe. Pets have the Auto Pick up function and will automatically pick up all of your dropped loot. They come in very handy during Helltide missions
- Next, you will need to complete the first Seasonal Quest ‘Of Lambs and Wolves’. After this, you will have access to Helltides which you can then spam on a loop. As Helltides has a 5-minute cooldown, you can use this time to complete the various Class Quest around the map, upgrade, or craft new gear.
- Once you reach level 40, you will want to switch to World Tier 3 and complete the next Seasonal Quest which is ‘The Eyes of the Enemy’. Once you have increased the world difficulty, you can now either continue with spamming Helltides or look to complete Nightmare Dungeons.
- Now, as you approach level 60 you need to switch to World Tier 4 after completing the next Capstone Dungeon. You can continue doing Helltides at this point, however, we suggest that you switch to Nightmare Dungeons when you reach level 80. This will let you level your Glypphs as you gain XP for your character.
- At level 95 you can replace Helltides and Nightmare Dungeons for The Pit. However, this decision will be based on how comfortable you are with your build at thai point. The Pit is much harder in comparison but the rewards for completing it are significantly better.
Once you reach level 100 the only thing that is left is to minmax your character for the endgame with all the new Uniques that Diablo 4 dropped with in Season 5. Moreover, if you are bored with the character you are playing with, you can always choose to use the Scroll of Amnesia to start your Seasonal Journey from scratch.
