Even months after the launch of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, Elden Ring developers conduct regular server maintenance and deploy patches for their soulslike adventure.
The new patch 1.14 is set to go live on September 11 and will be aimed at addressing some of the smaller bugs and some balance fixes in the game.
So, here’s everything you need to know about the server downtime and maintenance schedule for Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree patch 1.14.
Elden Ring patch 1.14 server downtime schedule
As revealed on X, the Elden Ring servers will be taken offline at the following times on September 11:
- 00:00 PDT

- 12:30 IST
- 16:00 JST
The servers will be expected to stay offline for two hours and are expected to come back online at:
- 02:00 PDT
- 11:00 CEST
- 14:30 IST

Once the servers are up, you will be able to access the online features of the game once again and continue your explorations of the lands between.
Why can’t I play Elden Ring?
Since Elden Ring is a mostly single-player experience, you not being able to play the game is most likely because of corrupt files or system related issues.
In most cases, verifying the integrity of your game files will force the game to identify and redownload any corrupted files pertaining to the game.
If you still cannot run the game, then consider performing a clean install of all the files and updating your video card drivers. That should sort most of the issues that you may be experiencing. These steps will only work for you if your system matches the requirements of the game.
Although it’s unlikely that the developers will extend the downtime for the Elden Ring 1.14 patch, we’ll be sure to update this page if they make any such announcement.
