Hourly Challenges is a new feature that has made its way to Fisch with the Narwhal update. With the latest system, you will be able to complete a new challenge every 15 minutes, and once you have done it, you will receive a reward at the end of it.

Fisch Hourly Challenges explained
You can take part in the Fisch Hourly Challenges by making your way to the following coordinates: X: 382, Y: 135, Z: 292, and then speaking to the Challenges NPC.
Once you interact with him, you will then get a set of 9 challenges that will be presented in a tabulated format. The challenges in the set are going to be random, so what you are getting is not necessarily something that your friend has obtained as well.
These challenges will range from catching a particular amount of a specific species, or just catching a random assortment of fish. After you complete the set, you will then need to go back to the challenges NPC to cash them in and then get your hands on all the cool rewards that are on offer.
However, do keep in mind that to take on new challenges, you will have to face a 15-minute cool-down period. You cannot keep completing them over and over.
Note: You can even skip a set of challenges and reroll a fresh batch if the task that they want completed seems daunting. You get one free skip every day.

Note: Do keep in mind that while these are the rewards that you usually get from the challenges, what you will usually end up with is random. So, there is no control over what you are getting. If you are lucky, you will be able to net yourself the Coral Skin Crate.
