Hades 2 is set to receive its full release, finally completing its early access phase. There is a lot to look forward to, and developer Supergiant Games has detailed all you need to know about the very same.
You can find more on the release dates, expected upgrades, and full notes (along with instructions on how to unlock v1.0) below.
Hades 2 full release date and time for all regions

Hades 2 is set to launch worldwide on September 25, 2025. The game will be launched simultaneously across all platforms including the Nintendo Switch 2, which is expected to receive a 120 FPS patch for the game.
Players can also expect cross-save progression between the Steam, Epic Games (both PC) and Nintendo Switch 2 versions of the game.
The game will be released as version 1.0, bringing with it the following changes and additions:
- A native, Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game will be deployed. The Switch 2 version has support for 120 FPS, but only when connected to a TV. Disappointingly, the game lacks a 120 FPS option in handheld mode, which is quite the strange omission.
- Thankfully, we do get a stable 60 frames per second on the original Nintendo Switch, albeit while rendering at 720p.
- Players can transfer saves in an in-game menu to enable cross save between Nintendo and PC platforms.
- A retail version of Hades 2 will be made available on November 20. This will be available as a standard game card, and includes a bunch of other goodies such as a character compendium and a code for the OST. The retail version will cost $49.99, and comes with a reversible cover.
How to unlock Hades 2 version 1.0 from early access
If you have already purchased Hades 2 in early access, the v1.0 update will be automatically added to your download queue for free.
If you have yet to play Hades 2, it is possible to purchase the game outright on platforms such as Steam for a rather reasonable price.
