Much like Macca, Glory is another extremely important resource that you will get to farm in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance. You use Glory to unlock Miracles in the World of Shadows which are benefits that will make your progression significantly easier.
However, racking up enough Glory to unlock all the Miracles that you want is easier said than done. This resource is a bit scarce and is not something that you will be able to readily farm like Macca.
Therefore, here are some of the best ways that will help you get more Glory fast in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance.
Best ways to get more Glory fast in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance
1) Search for every Miman
Miman are the little red-devil-like creatures that you will find when exploring Da’at. They will either be hiding in plain sight or can be found within the uncanniest corners of a decrepit building.
You collect Miman for Gustave, who in turn will offer you valuable rewards and items for every 5 Miman that you catch. Interacting with the Miman will send them back to Gustave, and every time you send a Miman back you receive a slight amount of Glory.
The amount of Glory that you get will differ based on the difficulty of the area you are in. For example, Da’at Shinjuku Mimans will give you significantly more Glory than the Mimans in Da’at Minato.
2) Interacting with Amalgams
Amalgams are also known as Glory Chests in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance. These are silver orbs that float in Da’at and upon interacting with them, you will be able to obtain a chunk of Glory.
Much like with Mimans, the higher the difficulty of the area, the more Glory will Amalgams give you. Additionally, as you go later into the game, make sure that you are constantly interacting with new points of interest that your Quest Navigator leads you to.
These will often open up new Magatsuhi Rail spots that can take you to undiscovered locations that might have an Amalgam.
3) Target farm Nigi Mitama
Nigi Mitama are the blue variant of the Mitamas which drop Glory Crystals once you beat them. You can then use the Glory Crystals in the item option from the menu tab to acquire some Glory.
This is by far the most consistent way of farming Glory in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance. In the base game, you had the option to buy Mitama Dance of Miracles DLC which increased the spawn rate of this special demon type.
The DLC is already a part of Vengeance, and from the general options menu, you will be able to increase the spawn rate of a specific Mitama. By increasing the Nigi Mitama spawn, you will be able to target farm it for glory.
Nigi Mitamas in higher difficulty areas will drop more Glory Crystals. Just make sure that you are equipped with enough Spy Glass to farm them. Every time you encounter a Mitama they come with a randomized weakness.
They will block every other damage type and escape after one round. So make sure you have enough Spy Glass to take them down.
4) Completing Missions
There are certain main quests and side missions that will offer you Small or at times a Large Glory Crystal after completing them. So make sure to check the quest tab to see which mission offers what.
Also, be wary of the proposed recommended level. Some side quests will ask you to beat a difficult boss, who can be of a much higher level. Tackle them only after you have met the level requisite.
5) Interact with Quest Navigator points of interest
Quest Navigators like Amanozako will often lead you to points of interest that you can interact with. These will in most cases yield valuable items, Relics, and Macca, however, on rare occasions, you can receive a Glory Crystal or even have an encounter with a Nigi Mitama.
