With the latest Cosmetic update that went live just after the Monster Mash event, Grow A Garden has finally added a long-sought-after feature, which will allow you to expand the plot of your garden. This will now allow you to grow more crops while adding a lot of cosmetic additions to beautify your farm.
You will be able to increase the plot on three different sides; however, there is a cost for each upgrade, and expanding your garden will not come cheap.
So if you are looking to make the most of the feature in the Roblox title, then the guide below will help you out.
How to expand garden size and plot in Grow a Garden
As you start Grow A Garden after the Cosmetic update, you will now see a signboard that says “Expand Garden” on one of your fences. So, just make your way to it, and then you will get a prompt to interact with it.
Now, the plot expansions are rather expensive, and we advise that those who have been able to store up on a lot of cash by selling mutations go for these upgrades. So once you interact with the board and have the money for the expansion that you need, all you will need to do then is hold and press E to purchase it.

All plot expansion options in Grow A Garden
Here is a list of all the plot expansion options that you will find in Grow A Garden:
Expansion Options | Price (Sheckles) | Cooldown | Description |
---|---|---|---|
Left Side | 250,000,000 | Instantly available | Slightly increases plot width and boundary on the left side |
Right Side | 250,000,000 | Instantly available | Slightly increases plot width and boundary on the right side |
Back of the Garden (Tier 1) | 500,000,000 | 1 Day (or 199 Robux) | Adds one plot and increases the back boundary |
Back of the Garden (Tier 2) | 1,000,000,000 | 3 Days (or 399 Robux) | Adds half a plot and increases the back boundary |
While there is no time for the left and right sides of the expansions, there is a big Cdr for the back expansion, and the back expansion is also a lot more expensive.
Note: You can skip the timer altogether by investing 199 Robux. For the first back expansion. The tier 2 expansion will, however, need 399 Robux. We suggest that you wait the timer out.
Should you expand your Garden Plot?
Expanding your Garden plot will depend on how close you are to the endgame. If you already have a good mutation and a multi-harvest farm going in the game, which has allowed you to make a ton of shackles, then yes, go for the upgrade.
The total of it, will cost you 2,000,000,000 Sheckles, so as long as you have that sum, feel free to expand your farm in Grow A Garden.
