Ashe’s best build options and items are helping her be more versatile with her role in League of Legends 14.11. She can be flexed as an ADC or a Support, depending on the match-up. She is pretty simple to pick up and is one of the easier Bot Laners to master at the moment.
Much of Ashe’s skirmishing prowess comes from the amount of CC tools she has in her kit. She fits most team compositions perfectly well, but she might pair best with an Enchanter Support in the Bot Lane.
This is because Ashe lacks mobility. Her kit does not possess any form of blinks or dashes makes her pretty easy to collapse on. You will need to master her kiting well, but once you get the hang of it Ashe can easily melt through any frontline.

Ashe Pros and Cons in League of Legends Season 14
Pros:
- For an ADC, Ashe brings an incredible amount of crowd control to the team. Her Frost Shot is an excellent kiting tool and she is one of the fewer Bot Lane champions who is capable of controlling fights in Riot’s MOBA. This lets her be versatile enough to be flexed as an ADC or a Support.
- Ashe’s Enchanted Crystal Arrow is a global ultimate that she can use to stun-lock an enemy from across the map. The farther it travels, the longer the stun period is and she can help make plays from a screen away. It’s one of the high-impact ultimates in League of Legends.
- Ashe is pretty easy to pick up as her kit is rather simple. She is a traditional ADC who will help you learn all the mechanics in the Bot Lane. Her Hawkshot is a great scouting tool, which can save you from getting ganked if you have pushed too far up in the lane. It can spot out the enemy Jungler positioning if you time it well.
Cons:
- Ashe does not have any mobility tools in her kit. This makes her pretty easy to engage on and taken out during the start of a fight. This makes her weak against high-engage CC comps, and you will have to keep kiting around a fight to stay relevant. Even with Ashe’s best build done she is harder to execute if you do not have a reliable frontline.
- Unlike some of the other ADCs, Ashe does not bring any burst damage to the table. While she excels at long extended fights, you will not have a good time with her if the enemy is not allowing you to stand and auto-attack. She needs to stack up her Q to get the most amount of damage off.
- Ashe is very position-reliant during a skirmish. You will need to kite around a fight well to be effective. You will need a fair bit of practice with her to have a better understanding of where to position with her during Late Game teamfights.
How to play Ashe: Tips and Tricks for League of Legends Season 14
Early Game:
- ADC: Ashe’s role as an ADC will be to make her best build as soon as possible. This means in the Early Game she will need to stay relevant in farm and XP so that she can hit her item power spikes early. As she has a relatively weaker early game just concentrate on last-hitting minions and harassing the enemy with her Volley when they walk up to CS.
- Support: If you are playing Ashe Support your job will be to harass the enemy Bot Lane and make it harder for them to last-hit minions. If you are against a winning match-up, make sure to keep zoning the enemy ADC away from farm and XP. Ward around your lane to spot out the enemy Jungler, and use your Hawkshot strategically to gain some vision advantage.
Mid Game:
- ADC: Continue to farm and keep racking up the CS numbers. Start hitting Ashe’s item spikes and look to make plays with her Enchanted Crystal Arrow. You can use her ultimate to make plays in other parts of the map or to help your Jungler get an easy gank off by landing the arrow on a carry. Help your team set up for neutral objective takes. Ashe is great at taking down the Drake, Baron, and Herald. While having the ability to make it harder for the enemy to contest it.
- Support: If your ADC is self-sufficient enough to farm by themselves, you can roam the map with your Jungler. This will let you get successful ganks off in other lanes while giving you the room to place deep Wards in the enemy jungle. If your team is setting up for a skirmish or objective take, your job will be to zone the enemy with your W and be as annoying as possible. Keep looking to lock down the enemy carries with you Enchanted Crystal Arrow.
Late Game:
- ADC: Ashe becomes a teamfighting powerhouse when her best build comes online. She comes with a lot of sustained DPS and can melt through the enemy frontline if she is given enough time to get her auto-attacks off. So group with your team and keep looking for a fight in the Late Game. Don’t forget to target neutral objectives as well, as Ashe can go through the Elder Drake or Baron in a matter of seconds.
- Support: Keep improving your vision score by placing Wards and taking out enemy Wards with your sweeper. Your R cooldown should be pretty low at this point with Ashe’s best Support build. This will let you use her Enchanted Crystal Arrow more often giving her more opportunities to make plays and lock down the enemy carries.
