The best Ezreal build makes the most of the Trinity Force-Manamune combo in League of Legends 14.11, giving him a tremendous Mid-to-Late Game power spike. While he had been struggling earlier on in season 14, he has ever since crept his way back into the meta. He is currently a pretty strong pick in the Mid and Bot Lane and also comes with Tanky and AP build variants.
While hard to master, Ezreal is one of the more rewarding ADCs in the game. With high-skill expression, he will be able to out-play his way out of most situations.
Ezreal is quite mana-hungry early on and weak during the laning phase. However, once he gets some of his core items done, he starts to hit like a truck.

Ezreal Pros and Cons in League of Legends Season 14
Pros:
Has one of the most outplay potential out of all the ADCs in the game. Timely using his Arcane Shift makes him incredibly slippery making it much harder to lock him down in a fight.
Starts hitting like a truck once he gets some core items under his belt. He can chip out tanks from a distance while poking out the enemy carries. This makes it much easier for the rest of the team to engage.
Scales pretty well into the late game and can help the team secure neutral objectives by poking enemies down. Getting them to low HP will make them hesitate if they are looking to contest.
Cons:
One of the hardest ADCs to pick up in League of Legends. He is very skill-shot reliant and does not play as a traditional Bot Laner. So you will need to put in the hours if you are looking to master him.
Mana-hungry and weak early on. Ezreal does not do well in lane against aggressive ADCs and picks that out-range him. He is often pushed in and forced to farm under the tower.
Does not do well against incredibly tanky enemies in the late game. While Ezreal has great poke, he has a very hard time taking down tanks that build a lot of armor.
How to play Ezreal: Tips and Tricks for League of Legends Season 14
Ezreal gameplay tips
Early Game:
Ezreal’s early game is rough. He does not bring much damage to the table and is often out-DPSed by most other Bot Lane carries. So your plan in the laning phase will be to stay relevant in farm and XP. Stay under the tower if need be and look to complete your core items.
Don’t push up too far into the lane. While Arcane Shift will help out if you are ganked, he is still quite squishy and if the enemies properly layer their CC on you, it will be hard for you to survive.
Poke the enemy bot lane when they come up to CS. However, as he is quite mana-hungry, don’t go overboard with the poking. Choose your moments carefully so that you have higher chances of landing his Mystic Shot.
Mid Game:
Once you have a Trinity Force and Manamune picked up you can start looking for teamfights. Ezreal should start having good poke now and you will have a much easier time poking down enemies.
Rotate mid and look to help the rest of your team contest neutral objectives. Push in the lane and position for the Rift Heral or Baron Nashor.
Arcane Shift will still have a very long cooldown now. So try not to use it too aggressively. Make sure the rest of your team is close enough to follow up if you are Arcane Shifting into the enemy.
Late Game:
Ezreal can struggle a bit if he is against tanks that build a lot of armor. While his poke hurts, it’s not going to do much damage to the enemy front line. So the best option will be to focus on chipping out their backline.
Position yourself in a way that you will be able to land a W+Q on the enemy’s back line. One rotation of these spells is enough to chip out almost 50% of the enemy carry’s health pool.
Don’t be afraid to spam his ultimate. Trueshot Barrage will have much smaller cooldowns which get reduced with every Q landing. So if you have an opportunity to poke out multiple enemies, don’t hesitate to press R.
