Marvel Rivals Season 0’s purpose was to help the community figure out the game and with Season 1, things are about to get bigger and better than ever. Alongside trying out new maps and game modes, you can look forward to unlocking members of the Fantastic Four.
It is no surprise that the developers have also decided to tweak the ranked mode. From the addition of a new rank to how your rank will be affected at the Season 1 reset, here’s everything about the upcoming ranked changes in Marvel Rivals.
Marvel Rivals new rank
In Season 1, a new rank called Celestial will be added to Marvel Rivals and it will be placed between Grandmaster and Eternity. So, here’s what the updated list of ranks in the game will look like:
- Bronze 1-3 (lowest rank)
- Silver 1-3
- Gold 1-3
- Platinum 1-3
- Diamond 1-3
- Grandmaster 1-3
- Celestial 1-3
- Eternity – no divisions
- One Above All – no divisions
Celestial will now act as the final rank in the Marvel Rivals ranked ladder with divisions. If you weren’t already aware, all ranks up to Celestial are further divided into three parts. Wins grant you rank points and collecting 100 rank points in a division lets you progress into the next one.
How Marvel Rivals Season 1 rank reset will work
According to the official Dev Vision Vol 3, your rank will drop seven divisions at the beginning of Marvel Rivals Season 1. For instance, if you end Season 0 at Platinum 1, you’ll begin your ranked journey in Season 1 at Silver 2.
This also means that players who end the current season at Gold 1 or below will be pushed right back to Bronze 1, the lowest rank in the game.
Well, that’s everything to know about the upcoming ranked changes in Marvel Rivals Season 1. We’ll update this piece with the latest information whenever it arrives, so you can bookmark it and check back later!
