Heian isn’t the first Jujutsu Kaisen themed Roblox game, but it stands tall as one of the better offerings out there. Like most games, Heian has a ton of progression elements that must be conquered to strengthen your character.
As such, a beginner’s guide will be provided below – detailing all the dos and don’ts, along with general tips and tricks, for easy reference.
Everything you need to know about Heian as a beginner
Tips and Tricks
- Gather whatever collectible items you can find scattered around the map.
- Talk to all NPCs in sight for quests and more.
- Avoid attacking other players and be friendly.
- Raid houses and buildings for loot.
- Try completing everything – some of the NPCs bring with them bountiful rewards and quests.
- Avoid tackling Cursed Spirits until you have enough EXP and/or levels.
- Unlock all Rune Stones for instant teleportation.
- Practice your techniques on Dummies, and try to stay within the quest areas.
- Do not bite off more than you can chew.
- Assuming a player is running towards you, be prepared for a fight.
- Always make sure to loot enemies after defeating them.
Cursed Techniques and Weapons

Cursed Techniques are powerful abilities that can change the state of the game instantly. These unique abilities can be unlocked by completing certain questlines handed over by CT trainers. CT requires Cursed Energy, and can be upgraded (by investing into Cursed Output and Cursed Energy) to make them more powerful.
All games require a weapon, and Heian is no different in this regard. Weapons can be gathered by crafting, looting, or via certain quest rewards. Naturally, stronger enemies have a higher chance of dropping a rarer weapon – which must be crafted using in-game resources.
Armor, Items, and Consumables
Armor and Clothes in Heian are, thankfully, just cosmetic items. They have no bearing on your gameplay and just make you look cool. These items can be procured by crafting, looting, or completing certain quests.
On the other hand, Items and Consumables bring with them many effects and are quite desirable to have on hand. Item rarities range from Legendary to Common, and are usually found scattered on the ground, or by progressing through certain quests.
Potions and Consumables can also be purchased from Merchants as well.
Clans, Stats and Skill Points

Clans are a (mostly) cosmetic addition to Heian. Joining a clan does little other than change your hair color – except for the Gojo and Michizane clans, which unlock Limitless for you. However, the only way to change clans is to create a new character and essentially wipe your previous save. Make sure to meet up with the Barber at Kirishima Village to try out new hairstyles.
As far as Skills are concerned, you can simply play through the game to unlock these stat upgrades:
- Agility: Boosts wall climbing
- Vitality: Boosts max HP
- Strength: Buffs DPS for strength-based weaponry
- Cursed Energy: Boots Cursed Technique damage (CT)
- Cursed Output: Boosts Cursed Energy usage for a sizable buff to CT damage
- Light, Medium and Heavy Mastery: Boosts weapon damage for the respective weapon types
Making use of Fast Travel with Rune Stones
Heian comprises a large overworld, with many places to explore. As such, Fast Travel becomes quite necessary. Heian approaches this using Rune Stones, a special kind of artifact which must be interacted with to unlock teleportation abilities.
To make use of it, simply interact with a Rune Stone. Next, select the Rune Stone you wish to be teleported to, and hit the requisite confirmation button to be whisked away.
Interestingly, there are no cooldowns in place for Rune Stones just yet.
