How to play Ajax in The First Descendant

To successfully pilot Ajax’s best build in Nexon‘s shooter you will need to master the Void Energy mechanic. He is a lot like Bunny in that regard, and you will need to keep a constant eye on the gauge before using his abilities.

So when you are just picking him up, its best to first familiarize yourself with both the normal as well as the enhanced effects of his abilities. Both will have a different situations of use, and it will take you fair bit of practice while playing him to master this aspect of his kit.

While Ajax is amazing in the support role, he struggles with clearing content. His AoE clear is pretty weak, and he is best played in a party with other Descendants.

Here are some do the Pros and Cons of playing Ajax in The First Descendant:

Pros:

  • One of the best front-liners in the game. Can tank through most content.
  • Is an excellent support especially when using the Void Energy meter for his skills
  • has great AoE CC and can reflect damage back to enemies.

Cons:

  • Lacks proper AoE clear and any form of DoT effects
  • Can struggle clearing content if not with a good team set-up.
