The Sacred Pledge of Blood quest in Throne and Liberty is one of the many quests present with the MMO. This particular quest has players solve a rather curious floating puzzle, and subsequently deal with a boss in order to complete it.

How to solve the Sacred Pledge of Blood puzzle and reach the Floating Thought
- Head to the Temple of Sylaveth, and pass through the dungeon into the room which has the Floating Thought.
- Speak with Scarla’s ghost and interact with the Memory Sign Pedestal. Walk up the stairs and through the gate.
- Find yet another pedestal on your right.
- Wait for the vanishing platforms to disappear, and activate the second pedestal.
- Quickly run through the now formed structures and jump onto the damaged pillar.
- Jump to the next pillar. Repeat until you reach the vanishing gate.
- Make your way to the right to reach the third pedestal.
- Time your moves with the appearance of the missing platforms, and activate the third pedestal.
- Walk through a gate once more and onto a pillar. Grapple your way to the indicated platform.
This should get you close to the Floating Thought, which can then be examined.
How to defeat Leonardas in Throne and Liberty’s A Sacred Pledge of Blood
Leonardas will challenge you to a battle once you pass through the dungeons and into his lair. This particular vampire boss battle is relatively simple, with the enemy opting to use a wide assortment of attacks including lunges, teleports and more.
Leonardas can occasionally make himself immune to damage. The only way to make him vulnerable during this fight is by interacting with the Pledge Artifact.
Make sure to interact with the Artifact as soon as possible to avoid taking unnecessary damage, and keep the heat on your foe.

Completing the Sacred Pledge of Blood quest will reward players with the ‘Vampire Slayer Ezekiel’ Guardian. This is the first Guardian you unlock in Throne and Liberty.
