Wuthering Waves’ release is almost on the horizon, and the latest livestream event has revealed the 1.0 Banners and Events.
The game releases on May 21, 2024, and the trailer gives us a glimpse of the post-apocalyptic world of Solaris-3 that players will be able to explore.
The available details surrounding the Banners and Events that players can dive on after the game’s launch is discussed in this article.
Wuthering Waves 1.0 Banners
Wuthering Waves 1.0 launches with two five-star characters on launch, and they will be available in different phases. Additionally, these banners will also feature the characters’ Best in Slot (BiS) weapons.
Phase 1 Character Banner: Prevail the Lasting Night
The first phase will feature Jiyan as the five-star character, and his banner will run from May 23, 2024 till June 13, 2024. The detailed list of characters available during this phase are:

- Danjin (Havoc)
- Chixia (Fusion)
- Mortefi (Fusion)
Phase 1 Weapon Banner
The Wuthering Waves 1.0 Phase 1 Weapon Banner features the BiS weapon for Jinyan, which is a five-star broadblade named Verdant Summit. Here is a list of all the weapons from this banner:

4-star weapons:
- Dauntless Evernight (Sword)
- Variation (Rectifier)
- Hollow Mirage (Gauntlets)
Phase 2 Character Banner: When Thunder Pours
The next phase of Wuthering Waves 1.0 will feature Yinlin as the five-star feature, and will run from June 13, 2024, to July 3, 2024. All the characters available in this phase are:
5-star characters:
- Yinlin (Electro)
4-star characters:
- Taoqi (Havoc)
- Aalto (Aero)
- Yuanwu (Electro)
Phase 2 Weapon Banner
Similar to Phase 1, this banner will also contain the BiS weapon for Yinlin, the five-star rectifier named Stringmaster. All the weapons available in this banner are:

4-star weapons:
- Jinzhou Keeper (Rectifier)
- Cadenza (Pistols)
- Lunar Cutter (Sword)
Apart from these, there will also be permanent and beginner banners from which you will be able to choose five-star characters and weapons.
Wuthering Waves 1.0: Events and rewards
Here is a list of all the permanent events available in Wuthering Waves 1.0:
- Gifts of Thawing Frost: Daily login event with free four-star character Sanhua, Lustrous Tides, and Radiant Tides.
- Awakening Journey: Reach Union Level milestones to earn rewards which include 1,600 Astrites, 40 Lustrous Tides, and five-star Winter Brume weapon of your choosing.
- Mail rewards: 10 Radiant Tides, 10 Lustrous Tides.
- Rumbling Hollows: Clear the Tower of Adversity: Stable Zone to earn rewards including free four-star character Yuanwu.
- Depths of Illusive Realm: Roguelike mode in Wuthering Waves with various rewards.
Apart from these, there are also two time-limited events that will run in Wuthering Waves 1.0:
- Alloy Smelt: Combat event that rewards Astrites, Character and Echo development materials for completing challenges.
- Overdash Club: A parkour event where you have to use the Grappling Hook. This event rewards Astrite, Advanced Resonance Potions, Advanced Sealed Tube, and Waveworn Reside x235.
