“Danger! Explosive!” is a side quest that you acquire while exploring the region to the south of the Violet Banyan in Wuthering Waves. The mission is given to you by an exile, named Yongli, who will ask our help to gather some explosive charges because you have blown away the ones he possessed.
The mission is sort of a fetch quest that can take some time to complete. However, the rewards are worth the time you invest in it as completing the quest will net you a fair bit of Shell Credits, crafting tools, and Union EXP.
Below is a guide on some of th steps you will need to take in order to complete “Danger! Explosive!” in Wuthering Waves.
How to start “Danger! Explosive!” in Wuthering Waves
To begin the “Danger! Explosive!” side quest you will need to head to the south of Violet Banyon. There you will find Exile Yongli infront fo a tent surrounded by explosive charges.
Shoot the charges, and once all of them explode, talk to Yongli. This will activate the quest and the NPC will ask you to bring him more charges as you just destroyed the ones that he possessed.
How to complete “Danger! Explosive!” in Wuthering Waves
Once the quest starts, here are some steps you will need to take in order to complete it:
Step 1: Collect Explosive Charges in the Exile camp
The next quest marker will be in a location which is just outside the Forbidden Forest. Head there and you will find an Exile camp.
You will find some explosive charges there along with a letter. Once you interact with the letter it will be revealed that the charges present in the camp are not going to be enough for Yongli.
You will then need to track down Feng and seek his help to get more explosives.
Step 2: Collect ingredients and deliver them to Feng
Feng is located in the southern part of the area. So make your way down south from the Forbidden Forest till you reach the edge of a cliff.
Feng will be there standing near a tent, so talk to him and he will ask you to fetch the following ingredients for you:
- 3x Chromeshell
- 3x Gloom Slough
- 3x Perilla
To get Chromeshell, head down the cliff near Feng, there will be a patch of land below surrounder by water. You will find a lot of Chromeshell lying around.
Gloom Slough can be found around Feng. Look for fallen branches and root clusters and rocks.
An abundance of Perilla can be found around the Forbidden Forest. So head north from Feng and you will be able to pick some up along the way.
Step 3: Collect the remaining explosives and deliver them to Yongli
Once you hand the ingredients over to Feng, he will let you collect the remaining explosives for the “Danger! Explosive!” quest in Wuthering Waves.
Report back to Yongi and he will now invite you to blast the rock wall with the explosive charges that you have just acquired for him.
Step 4: Blast the rock wall
Head to the location marker which is right below the cliff that Yongli was standing atop off. You will meet the NPC there along with two other Exiles.
Talk to them and use the gunner in your party to blow up the explosives. This will destroy the rock wall but will also attract the attention of another group of Exiles.
Step 5: Defeat the attacking Exiles
You will now need to beat the Exiles who just attacked you and Yongli. They are not that difficult to take down, hence, you don’t need to have the most optimal setup for the fight.
Once you dealt with them, you will have successfully completed “Danger! Explosive!” in Wuthering Waves.
Rewards for completing “Danger! Explosive!” in Wuthering Waves
After you defeat the Exiles, talk to Yongli and exhaust his dialog options. This will complete the quest and you will receive:
- 100x Union EXP
- 10x Astrite
- 2x Advanced Resonance Potion
- 1x Sealed Tube
- 6,000x Shell Credits
You will also find a chest that will give you:
- 50x Union EXP
- 40x Astrite
- 5x Wooden Textured Shard
- 1x Advanced Sealed Tube
- 1x Basic Energy Core
- 1x Tyro Pistol
- 1x Medium Sealed Tube
- 12,000 Shell Credits
While “Danger! Explosive!” is a pretty long side quest to complete the rewards that it provides will come in handy in Kuro Games’ RPG.
