When Moonlight Shines in the Forest is a side quest you receive in Wuthering Waves after the “events of the Dim Forest”. Qiaomu and Hoohoo have decided to stay around the Violet Banyan and investigate the moons around the area.
Once you accept the quest, you will be required to search for the four moons in the area. You will get some hints regarding their location, however, finding them can be a bit tricky.
It’s a very short quest if you know where to look, and the rewards for it are pretty decent. You will gain a good bit of Union EXP, Astrite, Advanced crafting materials, and Shell Credits.
So make sure that you try and complete the Moonlight Shine in the Forest in Wuthering Waves when you are looking to take a break from the main story.
How to start When Moonlight Shines in the Forest in Wuthering Waves
To have access to the quest, you will first need to complete When the Forest is no longer Dim side quest. As a part of the questline, you will need to save Qiaomu and Hoohoo, who then go on to give you the When Moonlight Shines in the Forest quest.
To activate the quest, you will need to head to the southern region of the Violet Banyan where you will meet the NPC. Talk to her, and exhaust her dialogs to activate the mission where you will need to search for four moons around the area.
How to complete When Moonlight Shines in the Forest in Wuthering Waves
To complete the mission, you will need to look for four moons of the Violet Banyan. Here is the locations and the hints of all the moons:
Moon 1: Found behind a waterfall
- Teleport to the Resonance Becon which is located to the north of the Great Banyan. This will take you directly to a waterfall.
- Make your way through a waterfall into a small cave. You can either beat the bear there or ignore it.
- You will find a moon behind it, just walk up and interact with it.
Moon 2: In a cave where dry branches sway
- Teleport to the southern resonance beacon. You will find the moon thee below the cliff so just glide to it.
- As it will be on the lower section, make sure to make a jump when you see the drop.
Moon 3: Perched upon a tree stump’s crest
- Make your way to some researcher tents near the quest marker.
- You will see a giant tree beside them.
- Climb up the tree and you will find a moon in the middle
Moon 4: At the moon pool’s alluring home
- Make your way north from the first moon. Follow the waters, so that you do not get lost.
- Make your way past another waterfall, and you will find the final one at the top.
Rewards for completing When Moonlight Shines in the Forest in Wuthering Waves
Once you have completed the side quest you will receive the following rewards:
- 500x Union EXP
- 40x Astrite
- 2x Advanced Resonance Potion
- 2x Sealed Tube
- 18,000x Shell Credits
For the amount of time it takes to complete When Moonlight Shines in the Forest, the rewards it gives are pretty neat in Kuro Games’ RPG.
