League of Legends Ambessa abilities, playstyle, and release date revealed

Riot Games has finally revealed the abilities that Arcane’s Ambessa will be dropping within League of Legends. She is primarily expected to be a top laner, however, with the right team composition she can be flexed into the mid lane as well as the jungle.

Below is a detailed description of all of the abilities that Ambessa will have once she goes live in the MOBA.

Active: Ambessa becomes unstoppable and blinks to the farthest enemy champion in a line. She suppresses the target before slamming them for damage and a Stun.

Ambessa’s playstyle in LoL

Ambessa’s playstyle will revolve around her passive Drakehound’s Step which will allow her a lot of mobility options once she uses her abilities. She is an energy champion as well, so much of her kit will revolve around how you can play around her cooldowns.

While she is primarily considered to be a top laner, Ambessa can be flexed into the mid lane and the jungle as well. She has a very versatile playstyle and as a bruiser her abilities will let her go in and out of battle, constantly juking and kiting away from the enemies while having the capabilities to hard engage for her team.

League of Legends Ambessa release date

Ambessa will be released on November 6, 2024, with League of Legends patch 14.22. She will be the last new champion in season 14 and is expected to be followed by her daughter Mel, who leaks suggest is going to be the first champion release of Season 15.
